    Ghost Dance of 1890 in US has similarities to the Cattle Killing - millenarian motivation in both cases

    Actually I believe the poem '"Fuzzy wuzzies" was about some of the Mahdist forces who the British encountered in Sudan.

    The British ended slavery not out of the goodness of their hearts but because slaves don’t pay taxes. Same in the US. Employed laborers have to pay taxes and that is why slavery was abolished. Make no mistake about it.
