Who am I?
Expert singing teacher, specialising in teaching children and young adults in singing and musical theatre. She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Just the Two of Us for the BBC and many more. Throughout her years of teaching she has judged in many competitions, judging Lucy Spraggan, George Samson, amongst others who have gone onto succeed in the business.
I am the founder of Vocaltutor, (founded 2003) the UK’s largest vocal and singing tuition network and now The New Foundry Studios which opened in 2013.
I have worked with BBCTV on Just the Two of Us, with many celebrities including Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten, plus has worked for ITV on many children’s TV programmes including The Worst Witch, as their vocal coach.

same thing happened to me about two years ago. I live for STEPS.
It’s a phenomenal comeback single... I’m putting it out there, I’ve always loved ‘Steps’. So many people slate them but their vocals are always on point, in particular Claire and Faye. It's a phenomenal comeback single. They stayed true to their signature style, with a nostalgia vibe to it, but still managed to evolve into a more mature sound and lyrics. Love the video too!

I've been a Steps fan since 1998. I'm so happy they're back! And yes, I also think it's great that the vocals are portioned out to ALL the members this time around. Seems like the simmering resentment from certain band members as seen in _Steps Reunion_ has resulted in a fair approach to vocal duties.

awesome review- I did email Georgina to ask if she could do this for her LBGT following then as quick as I asked it was up! She really listens to her subs. A great comeback song and STEPS really know how to cheer the world up. Helping us to dance out of the pandemic. Have been stressed moving house and had this on repeat really uplifts like only steps can so. Id love to go on a night out with Georgina, or a trip to a STEPS contest.... hmmm... competition prize maybe :) xxxxx

Steps has such a unique sound that you immediately know when one of their songs are playing! It hasn't changed much since the 90s!

Excellent comeback from Steps. The sound and clunky lyrics are pretty similar in style to the previous album. Nice to hear lines from Lee. Can hear his Northern accent on the lyric “us” sung as “uz”.

Everything about the song, video, style and choreography is excellent. I met them once on a program called Nightfever which was hosted by Suggs and they were all really nice and friendly. It was when Tragedy was out. I also agree with everything you said in your video. 👍🏻

For those watching this wondering what a vocal coach makes of the performance: Claire has a lovely, distinctive voice, the harmonies are good and there's a great atmosphere. It's sweet to watch a fan respond to the video, but there's very little discussion here of voice technique, vocal coach tips etc.
