I ordered some Vessis and told them that Simon sent me. I need some shoes that aren't crap to walk in. I usually just wear my biking shoes because I do a lot of cycling, but they fucking suck for long walks/hiking.

I absolutely love it when Kevin uses ridiculous anime plots in these. He makes them sound realistic, absolute legend of a skill. I want a series where he describes anime and we have to guess which he's describing. Im a huge anime fan.

I can't stand "genius" stories written by non genius people. It's incredibly frustrating. They always just do either normal, not smart stuff, or the author invents this long convoluted way of pretending their character is smart, but really it's just convoluted nonsense that usually has a much simpler solution.

@@retsz Simpsons plot was definitely more risky than death note, anime would be basically as safe as anything from LotR or Star Wars with Simon lol. He knows Star Trek as well tho! But basically just Next Gen as I recall. Or at least definitely not DS9, might have said he saw Voyager..

Yeah, part of the decision to do the video this way was so people would stop complaining about the voice modulation. The other part is that I always had to memorize my script, and this one was gonna be waaay too long

The fact I was listening to this as background while I did chores, and I had no idea he was talking about polybius (which I have heard about) because I did not at all recognise the pronunciation
@@greenockscatman I'm pretty sure it's come up in videos multiple times, but probably only as a mention and not an entire video. I live in Portland, I've been to Ground Kontrol arcade more times than I can count, and while I would have been in diapers at the time, my brother is a decade older than me, was an avid arcade player, and he never saw such a game. I was more of a pinball wizard myself.

as a warehouse manager i can confirm dumping old stock to make space for new stock does occur ..... the worst experience ever was while working in a bonded warehouse we had to destroy 10 pallets ( about 5000 bottles ) of spirits because they didn't have the correct ' duty paid ' labels .. it was cheaper to destroy & write them off as a business loss than ship them back to country or origin

@@kingofhearts3185 I've been in situations where I could have easily gained something sort of possibly valuable/cool that no one would have lost anything by. Did even think quite hard about how I could have been caught doing it other than by complete chance without coming up with even a remote way. Ended up not doing it, and I suspect that the whole thing may have been a slight bit on purpose, since I was in the armed forces at the time and had done a psyche test which according to one source had some unusual result.
Most of the time the people who get picked to do jobs where there would be opportunities like that are almost always people who won't stray. No idea how it's possible because based on data of people who aren't selected, there are a lot of people who will do 'bad' things if given an opportunity. By 'bad' in this case I mean victimless harmless 'crimes'.
I'm probably not making sense, need sleep.

It's funny (at least to me) that Simon said the Elevator Game sounded like something that would be in one of Kevin's "Mangas", since I first learned of the elevator game from the anime Otherside Picnic (and its associated light novels).

Yes, they dump pallets of new Products. I found out through a german documentation where they hid GPS thingies in shoes and by chance discovered that some of those prepared shoes ended up getting "recycled"... Those shoes ended up all over the place.

Alright everybody! Petition here to reques- no, demand Simon to start a new channel! Hopefully called, “Are You an Arse?”
Format I would like to see:
1: Viewers type out a personal story wondering if they themselves have acted like an arse, allegedly.
2: Submissions sent to one of the writers/producers who would select the best/worst entries.
3: Simon reads the stories blindly (as per usual).
4: Simon renders the verdict on whether or not you are, in fact, an arse, in his opinion.
5: Users can then post a reply to the video they’ve been called out in to either thank Simon for his glorious not guilty verdict, or publicity apologize for their flagrant misconduct.
What do you all think? Should we try to get Simon to do this?

So I work in a company that does data erasure as part of selling and scrapping secondhand electronics and I can tell you physical destruction is still very much in use, mostly because it's quick and easy to prove. We have to pay a software vendor by the drive for the three-pass overwrite method because they need to certify that it took place for compliance reasons. Because of this, we offer both methods at different prices.
Partial data recovery off of part of a physically damaged drive may be possible, but it is going to be a very involved, expensive process.
Do chemicals add anything to the hammer process or not really? I've heard of people using acid or bleach but figured I'd ask a pro.
@@kingofhearts3185 So we used to offer acid as an erasure method but it was phased out because of the costs involved. It does render the data 100% unrecoverable however, because it completely strips off the layer of metal that the data is recorded on.
