Complete cell? Outrageous! He's Mister Perfect Cell.
I'll toast a He-Tap to that
Goku is a combat genius
And Cell is not making anything up, he did send a rabbit antagonist to the moon way back in DB
In the very first arc😂it was crazy from the jump
And the moon has been blown up a couple times since then sooo.....that dude is definitely dead lol
@@Gameorama91nope, he had a cameo in the super manga. He’s still alive somehow
@@protalghulnist4126 wow, foreal lol
@@chimerius24 Yup, it was during the moro arc. If you look up boss carrot you can even find the panel
2:17 That’s because he was specifically designed to absorb 17 & 18 that way to reach his perfect form.
23:48 I absolutely love the background music during trunks and Cells fight here.
Fun fact, the song they use for Trunks powering up is his theme from some of the games, called Hikari no Willpower. The TFS version has a full cut on their channel as well, worth a listen.
Cell: Look at me I'm trunks, please love me dad😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you break Popo's stuff he breaks you.
Fun fact, final flash would’ve actually killed cell if he didn’t move at the last moment
Uh no? Cell was much stronger than vegeta here, he survives a much stronger attack later on.
@@orbboom6119nah they mean that it would’ve hit cells head which would completely kill him but it never does cause plot
@@orbboom6119nah the Final Flash is the strongest single person blast until the buu saga. Can't remember if it's from a guidebook or Toriyama
@@orbboom6119 what I said is straight from toriyama
@@Xavier-sl7hn but he gets his whole head blown off💀so
"you couldn't fathom the amount of dead men behind me"
arguably the coldest line in the series
In the actual show when Goku and Gohan were training, Gohan eventually picked up that Goku was holding back in all of their sparing matches. He then calls Goku out saying "Piccolo was right about you, you're too nice. If I'm going to get any stronger you need to stop holding back." which is what you see Goku later does in this episode. Probably don't need to tell you two this but TFS overexaggerates Goku's lack of parenting skills.
And they admited to regreting some of those moments.
Goku at age 12: sent a evil rabbit man named “monster carrot” to the moon along with 2 human henchmen.
Goku at age 13: defeated nearly the entire red ribbon army single handedly.
Goku at age 16: defeated Piccolo’s father, demon king piccolo and several other demons.
As cell has said, goku (and even Krillin) has indeed seen more action in a week then trunks has seen in his life. And this isn’t even 1/16th of it until Goku becomes trunks age.
The reason a week is important is that that's about how long Namek lasted. So even Gohan has more experience fighting than Trunks does.
10:43 - even 16 was backing away from Cell as Vegeta was charging upm
25:45 - And here we see the difference between Goku's and Vegeta's training. Goku saw Gohan about to use the form, and took the time to explain the good and bad parts of that form. Compare that to 9:12 where Vegeta had too much pride and Trunks did not want to try out that form around Vegeta. If Vegeta had dared Trunks to get that powerful, then Vegeta would have been able to teach the good and bad parts of that form before getting the lesson from Cell instead. (Likely by beating up Trunks)
"Wha is Cell's game plan?"...what a "perfect" question.
Hell yea. Thanks for the upload. Can't watch it right now, but you two just made my lunch break later tonight a hell of a lot bettee
I just caught up to all of your reactions, glad you're still going
You need to watch the History of Trunks special on DBZ Abridged to understand Trunks alternate Universe.
They already did
Loving these reactions. I hear you guys listened to Disturbed and got "down with the sickness", hope you feel better soon 💙
13:29 goku referring to the dragon ball z Kai’s opening
Mr. Perfect Cell's lines in these episodes are outstanding.
"As a soon to be broken man once said: 'You're either perfect or you're not me.'"
MPC: Behind all that angst and ridiculous hair, there's a real fighter."
Unreasonably Buff Bird: And behind all that insufferable smarm is a dead man.
MPC: Trunks... you couldn't fathom the amount of DEAD Men behind me :)
11:10, everyone always asks how those beams just fly off into space when they're ground level vs ground level. It's moving so fast, that when it hits escape velocity, it just flings off the curvature of the planet. 🤷♂
When he first transformed he was really trying not to explode/implode cause it was so intense it just looked like that
27:29 That face looks like King Cold or 2nd form Frieza which makes me think well now we know where those genes ended up in Perfect Cell
I know this always gets brought up but for those of you who don’t know vegetas final flash here is the strongest beam attack in the entire arc.
If cell didn’t move he would’ve been completely fucked
*SPOILERS*
Stronger than SSJ2 Gohan’s “Silent Kamehameha”? Stronger than both Super Perfect Cell’s & SSJ2 Gohan’s final kamehamehas they used in the beam clash? Because tbh I find that pretty hard believe it was stronger than those 3 Kamehamehas.
according to Toriyama, yes to all of those
@@Austin.Kilgore ikr. these guys just be claiming stuff. wheres the proof?
"He went somewhere else."
We are all in for a ride to somewhere.
lol I know DBZA is a parody and things are written for the sake of comedy, so of course they’re gonna play to the “Goku is a bad dad” meme… but in actuality he’s a MUCH better dad then the meme’s/“Goku is a bad dad” crowd would make you believe.
Wow! Trunks realizing Krillin didn´t wanted Android 18 to die made him say sh*t instead of crapbaskets!
Just to temper expectations, and since it will not be explained any better than this, this is how time travel works on dragon ball:
You have your time machine and you go to the past, only issue, you cant go to the past just like that. What you do with that time machine is go to another timeline, an universe the same as yours, only difference is you are there now, when you were not supposed to.
No matter what you do, you cant change the past to change your present though. It will only affect that timeline you went into and nothing else.
Trunks knew this, so his plan was just to either find a desing flaw in the androids that could potentionally help him defeat them, or, plan B, he brings Goku back to his own world to beat the androids for him.
So Cell killing Trunks in the future means nothing, other than potentionally, the real, original timeline being the one where Cell kills Trunks, and that means in how the story was supposed to play out without Trunks going to the past, everyone would have died, except MAYBE Bulma, but everyone else, friend or foe, is dead now.
Thank you for the explanation!
@@MatandChelsReact Oh, its nothing, thanks for replying. It is a bit complicated and convoluted, and most people dont get it just from watching the show once.
So the list of timelines we know exists are, which are 4:
1) Goku dies of a heart attack, Androids kill everyone, then Trunks survives the androids attack and Goes to the Past (History of Trunks' timeline, with Mister Gohan, the extinction of Country Music, and all that)
2) Trunks goes back to the past, kills Freezer, Gives Goku his medicine, then goes to the future and comes back to fight the androids (The story we are watching right now)
3) A different timeline where another Trunks came to another past and managed to somehow find a way to beat the androids.
We dont know how, but maybe he found like a weakness in the androids or something. This "Another Trunks" wasnt stronger, just used the smart way.
Its implied he didnt beat the androids with strength since Cell killed him in his first form.
Still, this "Another Trunks" beat this world's androids and then went back to his own timeline, the 4th timeline im going to talk about in this list.
4) "Another Trunks" 's own timeline, where he used his knowledge to beat his own world's androids and some time has passed.
"Another Trunks" wanted to help other timelines with his knowledge and was about to go to another timeline when Cell stepped in.
This Cell belongs to this 4th timeline, and he killed "Another Trunks", since he killed Cell's precious androids he needs to become perfect.
This Cell goes to the past. Which past? The past of the story we are watching right now:
Cell just arrived a little earlier than Trunks. Couple of years earlier. And he hid and grew back to his mature form, and then years passed, Trunks came to give Goku his medicine and warn about the androids.
Goku doesnt take his medicine and has a heart attack but gets saved by Vegeta, blah blah blah androids 16, 17 and 18, blah blah blah Super Vegeta, blah blah blah Perfect Form.
And then Cell told this to Trunks, kicked his ass, and told us to check the news, but even with all this information, we still dont know what channel to check.
3:03 this scene canonically takes place at the same time as Cell going perfect, according to the TFS guys
I love this is becoming more consistant
Sweet! Was just wanting some DBZ content
Ok so here yall are gonna wanna see a small side series with cell, cell games abridged he fights random characters and its hilarious
Final Flash was easily the best scene in all of Z. Using his super saiyan theme was the best decision ever.
Goku is the model parent lmao
I am surprised Krillin didn’t use Galick gun when he had the chance
In the abridged series, 💯 percent pissed at his dad. In the original series he's trying to manage and control his Saiyan nature and his power after transforming fully for the first time.
18:09 He breaks you lol
A lot happens in this🤣🤣🤣
30:56 Yes. What is the game plan? :D
Also: 24:42 you should know by now. It is very risky to drink when 16 is talking ;p
“Can I get a dime for that….”
Vegeta deserve that
He would have killed Cell with Final Flash had he not moved
I'm pretty sure there weren't any montages of Trunks/Vegeta training.
I prefer to call it his "booty straw"
His backdoor slurpstick.
26:59
Nobody f's with the Popo.
cell is perfecte evil jajaja
Cell is the best!
Hey YOU! Where is Peter Griffin? 😡😡😡❤️🥳
What the hell are you talking about? 🤨
@@MatandChelsReact You promised to show us Family Guy. Season 5, episode 4 🥳
Please read all of this, it took me a while to write.
The strong emotional feeling to jump from Saiyan to Super Saiyan isn't just one. It can be several.
Rage: A Saiyan can be more angry than they've ever been before in their life. Goku seeing Krillin die for the second time, knowing that the Namekian Dragon Balls don't work and thst Shenron (Earth's Eternal Dragon) can't bring someone back more than once (ever) shoved Goku over the edge into purr, unadulterated anger. Or, Vegeta feeling like he can't ever catch up to Kakarot, whom Vegeta sees as his inferior until a certain event occurs later in their lives. Or Trunks being furious at 17 and 18 for killing (Future) Gohan.
Sorrow: A Saiayn may sense of great loss, either for that of a dear comaonion's desth, or believing they wont achieve what they desire in life. Goku watching Krillin, his best friend, being murdered by Frieza. Or Vegeta believing he doesn't have it in him to become a Super Saiyan, that he lacks something Kakarot had that let him make the jump. Or Trunks, losing his mentor and best friend, and believing it was his fault because he wasn't there to back him up.
Despair (but not hopeless): A Saiyan faced with certain death, as in the Saiyan knows they'll die because they simply *are not* strong enough as they are. Goku knew Frieza was just too powerful to overcome, even with 20 times Kaioken. Vegeta, in the main timeline, was trying to protect his spaceship from an asteroid shower, and was having trouble keeping up with the sheer volume of them, and needed to be stronger and faster. Trunks knew he couldn't beat 17 and 18 as a normal half Saiyan, especially if Gohan couldnt do it as a *Super* Saiyan. And Gohan truly believed Goku's attack was going to kill him, and no one was there to save him.
There's also a much, *much* easier way to do it, that is absolutely idiotic.
S-Cells: Saiyans produce unique cells in their bodies under various circumstances. As they get stronger, as they receive Zenkai boosts (getting stronger from fully healing after almost dying), and as they live calmer, more peaceful lives. When their body has created enough of these cells, a significant amount of ki focused in a specific spot between their shoulder blades will trigger the transformation. It can also allow another transformation if/when they have enough power to do so.
The one thing all methods have in common is a minimum power level requirement. The absolute lowest thst Saiyan's power level can be to make the jump is: 10,000. Ten. Thousand. Not that much, all things considered.
And yes. Goku did, in fact, send a rabbit to the moon. His name is Monster Carrot. He was one of Goku's earliest enemies, but he was actually quite weak. His only real ability was that he could turn people into carrots by touching them. Goku defeated him with the Power Pole, to give himself some range. He then used the Power Pole to take Monster Carrot and his two henchmen to the moon (don't ask how they all didn't die from being in space without spacesuits) and said they could only return to Earth after making mochi treats for all the children of the world (though that part might be only in the dub, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but they do make mochi). And no; I'm not making *any* of that up. This actually happened in OG Dragon Ball. It was a very different show from what it became in Z.
