Try registering multiple fingerprints for the same finger. This worked for me. Try different angles when you register it. Also, when you press to turn it on keep it there for like 1~2 secs. I hope this helps

@@aliceweiss6711 honestly the heating issues aren't even that bad . If you want, you could buy a cool pad for your laptop for about 15-20 dollars but truthfully it's not necessary!
I can't wait til mine shows up tomorrow. I'll definitely be gaming on it, but mostly it'll be for running Kali and it's tool set.

@@Josh-sg3pc I think it's pretty amazing. It runs flawlessly. Some people think it runs too hot, but I suspect they've never owned a laptop with this much power in it. The heat is there, but it's not insane and won't hurt the machine.

It's a great laptop if/when you get a good unit. Terrible QC issues though
It’s not the display, it’s the crappy Asus Armoury Crate visual plugin. Once you remove the files for the plugin the panel looks very vibrant.

I got that laptop and don't know how you can say display is low contrastic. In my opinion colours are very saturated, and you can change the GameVisual (in Armoury Crate) how you preffer. And speakers are loud and I love them. Sound is deep, clean and have a soul

I wanted it because of portability and performance, but carrying a webcam or using the phone as webcam, leaving me without phone in meetings is just pointless.

@@aryan.prince Hi, I’ve just heard from some people that the G14 runs slightly cooler than the blade 14. It may also depend on the actual computer you have been given, but for most people that’s what I have heard

I would recommend the configuration with 32GB of RAM if you are using it for 3D rendering.
