IKEA's Cheapest Loveseat. Is It Actually Comfortable?

- In this review, we'll be taking a look to see if the Glostad, IKEA's cheapest loveseat, is actually comfortable. Initially, I did find this two seat sofa to be quite comfortable. Some of the things I liked about this IKEA loveseat is that I found it to be pretty stable and the sitting position is pretty pleasant. You don't lean too far back or too far forward. I also noticed that the cushions for the backrest of this IKEA loveseat are soft which adds to the overall comfortable sitting experience. The thing is, IKEA didn't use higher quality materials so they could keep the cost low. Some of the cheap materials used for this two seat sofa is the seat cushion and the recycled polyester fabric. The seat cushions firmness will most likely last you about a year or less as its density is at 1.5 lb/cu.ft. This being said, if you're looking for an IKEA loveseat/two seat sofa at an inexpensive price point, then this could be a good choice for you.

I like that it’s so cheap, but it also nice that it’s very small. The fact that the armrests are very thin allow it to fit in my bedroom, albeit still a tight fit. It’s nice to have something that can fit two people tight but still be small enough to fit in a bedroom.

@@84848AR Sold it a month later. So uncomfortable after a few hours. Doesn’t support the upper back and it’s difficult to get your lower back in against the back cushion. Gave me back pain.
I was looking at this earlier today in Ikea, felt alright.. was thinking about it for my gaming room.
Do you think this would be good in a room as an area for people to lounge?
Horribly uncomfortable and I could definitely feel the steel frame through the back cushions. Good thing I only got it for something to temporarily sit on as we were waiting for a proper sofa to arrive as it was really starting to give me back issues.
