I am another person categorized in that minority, I absolutely loved Kate as well, and yes, I cried when she died simply because of the irony from the episode 'Bete Noir' when she was taken hostage by Ari, she had the chance to kill him with the knife but she didn't, and later Ari just shot Kate in the forehead.. I loved her

The fan base loyalty is amusing to the extreme. The debate between Kate and Ziva is like two opposing sides of a battle line. It reminds me of the Tifa/Aeris battle in 97' when FFVII came out. Ahh....memories and situational nostalgia. God Bless NCIS:)
