outstanding, you guys are a cut above. Love what you've done. The fact that you're completely electric gives you freedoms that propane wouldn't allow if you're off the grid for extended periods. Well done....
No other channel has this amount of RV Nerdism and Geekiness --- I am super impressed now. "Let me just 3D print up some latches and hooks and a roof liner right now" - wow. Top to bottom geeked out info like nothing else on the YT. Thumbs up.
I just watched all your videos and I'm so impressed of what you did with you're rig! Can't wait to see more from you and hopefully do the same thing with my truck. Very impressive!
Mind is blown! This is next-level thinking and bar none, the most innovative build I have ever seen! Super inspiring. Thank you!
Your build turned out really nice! Expert level fab work as well as everything you have done!
You two are awesome. Thank you for inspiring everyone!! All the best to you and your family.
Wow - super impressive and original build decisions - thank you for sharing!
3:48 😂 nothing has stopped us yet. That’s my motivation ✊🏽💪🏽
Awesome build for sure. I have been working on my own rig for almost two years and can't believe I have not run across you guys yet. Will definitely be going through your build videos. Thank you for posting.
Looks really good and you can see all the hard work you lot have put in to it. Just goes to show if you put your mind to it you can get things done.
Just subbed! Amazing rig you have. It'll definitely give me plenty of ideas for what I want to build
Very impressive guys. Always inspiring
Really beautiful job building and then documenting your work.
Fabulous videos and engineering achievement, with really great down to earth friendly on camera presentation... no BS here... other youtubers could take note. Looking forward to watching many more from your channel.
Well Thanks, Carl! We look forward to having many more subscribers like you! :-)
Wow. Great job. Not sure how this video hasn’t blown up yet
Bravo. This is above and beyond anything else I've seen on CZcams-- seriously, a class of its own. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the last clip of your solar array. WOW. Like another commenter said, this makes other professional outfitters and RV companies looks like child's play!
Really... How I am supposed to respond to this? Many Thanks for the kind words.
I was just going to say same about fold out solar. Do you have more details or a video on this? I am supper keen to find out more.
Sorry, I somehow missed your comment. More solar videos here:

Everything you need in a compact space. Its awesome
What a team you two make. I am so jealous. Live long and prosper and enjoy life! Safe travel.
I have looked at countless videos to get some ideas on what would work for me before I begin my project. Very cool and interesting concept and how you managed to build your unit. Thanks for sharing
I wanted to built something like yours but with the king cab chassis for the kids.. awesome rigg.👏👏
Absolutely amazing build! Congratulations!
Bro your build is amazing. The small details are very well thought out.
looks awesome. great job. Definitely going to be a lot of fun.
Amazing! Love the build!
Watched a lot of video on RVs, Van conversions etc, this vehicle is VERY impressive, have to imagine some of it is somewhat expensive Lithium Batteries for example) but seeing how a LOT of the work was done by you. JUST WOW! (can't wait to watch more)
Lithium cells are 250 a piece... but they last for 3000 cycles as compared to 300 -500 for lead acid, so it's cheaper in the long run. Thanks for the kind words.
@@Everlanders Wow, thanks for that info, didn't realize the # of cycles difference.
Thats a heck of a build. I luv what you did with the 03 550 it looks great. Im a Ford guy personally i really like the front end its aesthetically pleasing. The software as well as the hardware is very impressive really, really nice jod, thx for sharing!

Just fabulous really nice. You guys seem really down to earth , decent people.Best of luck enjoy your travels.
Thank you very much for the kind comment.
One of the best {by far} Self build Overlander Rigs on CZcams ! You have managed to design and Build a Large enough comfort wise living space yet not too large to hinder your Deep Back Country OffRoad abilities. I appreciate that you built your rig for you and your tastes and needs rather than for the style and impact that some people seek through affirmation. If your rig was any larger it would hinder your offroad capabilities and if your rig was any smaller you would loose your comfort levels significantly ...IMHO... I would do things differently but this is what is great about our lives in that we can be individuals but still respect and admire others who seek an Experience driven life rather than a mundane and couch potato existence. Again...IMHO ... kudos to you both, and I hope that maybe in the near future our paths might cross so we can compare and share...until then Good Luck and Enjoy the Show this Universe has in store for us all !!!
Best comment ever! 🏆
You Guys ROCK!! Keep up the good work.
Now that is an overland setup - absolutely good stuff; not some little gutless Toyota. Excellent! 👍🏻
Krasnaludek Hey Toyota ‘s aren’t gutless !! Well maybe the 22r

Great video! Thanks for the tour, there's some things you did that I really want to do still on my rig and appreciate the tips.

Yeah, we'll need to swing through there again...

When you said you had no propane in the camper. Hank Hill grabbed his heart and whet "Arooggghhhhhhhhhhh"
No accessories either...

Good job on your hard work, keep it up. 👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome Rig Guys!
Great work. Thanks for sharing!
Very Nice... Love how you converted the Tires and Front of the Truck... Good Before and After Pictures... Anybody can get a old Heavy Duty Truck and do Amazing Things... Slowly Nickle and Dime what you can Afford. All you have to do is get Started.Good Job.
Thanks so much! 😊
Very impressive build and tour
The light switch rave reference is a thing of beauty.
Glad you got it!
Just found your channel. Fellow Canadian into off road motorcycling and 3D printing. Just starting a Campervan build and I wanted to thank you for all your great content!
Still Binging and watching some twice and more. Your humor is starting to flow and it is refreshing to see you reach for that brass ring. Looking forward to see how you plot your travels on a map and decide where you will be off to next. P.S. My back hurts just watching all the additions. Reminds me of myself 20 years ago. Nothing is impossible.
Much love! Can't wait till you see the new stuff...
Addicted to your channel!
Question: I'm super jealous. Nice work guys.
Answer: Thanks!
Thank you for the tour and really nice job! Also you are a too cute couple! Best wishes!
O melhor equipamento que eu já ví entre todos, parabéns aos proprietários
Muito obrigado muito gentil de sua parte!
Saw your video on Tiny Home Tours Channel-awesome truck. I'm (still) trying to finish a 1985 U.S. Army CUC-V (1 1/4 ton) GMC build. After sinking several thousand into it, I realize I have a long way to go. So many possibilities I wasnt aware of until I found your channel. Very motivating, thank you.
Glad to inspire!
I really like the solar pop out nice feature.
Wowee .. what a bunch of super groovey folks .. bravo ..😁pip pips
That thing is amazing !

I'm surprised you all do not have 300,000 subscribers yet. Such an informative channel. You all are doing a great job. Thanks you!
They're on their way there for sure! Prob my favorite channel currently.
You guys have inspired us to build one for ourselves, were just getting started now. thankyou!!! :D
Really...? Like, Really really? Us? 😲 If true, that's the single most hearwarming comment we've had in a long time. You picked a solid truck to start with... Too bad it wasn't a refrigerated box, they're well insulated to start with.
We're building everything from the frame up. I hope you don't mind if we borrow a few ideas form your design.
very lovely , Thank you !
very cool, great job and travel safe!
Excellent informational video!
Hello from Fl. your Videos are 5* Awesome teachings.
Automating with Raspberry Pi, that’s an ingenious use!
you guys are awesome! I'm gonna do this one day travel the world. :D
Great job! Congratulations from Brazil!

Water heaters always a pain- I have an Anova in the kitchen and never thought of using it in RV - Great idea!!!

This is amazing I am waiting for your recently trip videos
Our recent trip videos are from Guatemala, this one from Antigua might interest you! czcams.com/video/BdiGAPQisJ8/video.html
I like everything I saw in the vid. Wow. Would like a slow panorama 360 inside for perspective/relationship purpose.
Okay! We'll try and get that into an upcoming video...
Everlanders awesome, I'm custom building my own
Wow. Super awesome rig. I hope I can afford something like this one day! Gonna have to settle for a regular truck camper for now lol.
This cost us less than a truck camper... 🤔
Love that you have a toilet and shower outside ♥️♥️♥️
Our Toilet is on the inside...
That's it I'm getting my sous vid shower on soon! I'll just hang mine off a 5 gallon bucket tho. I already have a shower pump
Nice, looks like an EarthRoamer, of course at a fraction of the cost.
Nice truck. Stay safe.
Nice ride 👍
Very nice setup. I really like the solar panel set up. Would like to see a video on how you two are running everything off electrical
i feel like id be you guys, if i just had more drive. looks awesome!
If you think you can or you think you can't, your right.

Wish I'd have known of you when we rolled through Edmonton last week... Would have loved to do a collaboration video.
That’s to bad we are here for about 3weeks let me know 🇨🇦🛠🛠
Hi guys, one of my first comments on CZcams to tell you are my HEROES. Your build is more than inspiring, RV/Overlanding companies should be learning from you. The level of automation/analysis detail and practicality is jawdroping.
1. How do you feel about a 'cooler' type fridge? Is it annoying to have to look for something thats in the botto? Would you consider having a standing fridge where you have the storage.
2. How long can you go off grid? Whats the first thing to go, water?
3. The shower you are planning, would you consider making it in the nature head corner? You could make the toilet hide in the side with slideouts and the shower space could be hanging storage that you tilt out when you need to use the space.
4. For the cabin wouldnt you prefer another screen for the vehicle sensors (Turbo oil etc) something like a Motec dash control.
Again, you are amazing, please continue to share your videos and ideas.
Wow!! Thanks! Comments like yours really make my eyes pop out of my face! And so many have used the word "Hero" lately. It blows my mind - Heartwarming!
1. A top opening, chest cooler/fridge/freezer will always be much more efficient. This is because the cold air is more dense, it wants to sink to the lowest spot. In a chest style cooler, this cold is contained when the lid is opened. In a standing side opening Fridge, All your precious cold air all falls out the side when the door is opened. Getting to the bottom is not too hard with the removable baskets. This of course has drawbacks for accessibility, (you must enter from the top) which I tried to address with that sliding box.
2. Weeks! The stainless kegs can be connected in series for longer periods away. We have 2 or 3 kegs normally, but have room for up to 8. (20L each) This would last us about 14 days. Another reason we like these kegs is that they can be removed and carried to be refilled at non-RV spots. We've topped up at small town diners, public water fountains, etc... For much longer trips we will have one keg dedicated as "dirty water" collected from lakes and streams and then we can treat it and then pressurize it and push it through a filter system and into our main kegs. If the water is from a pretty clear stream, we just heat it up and shower without treating too...
3. We considered it, but no... The aluminum entryway pan was welded to collect the water and so if we need to shower indoors (ie, below freezing) it'll be there. Another reason is height, The roof is only 2cm taller than me (Jason) So the entryway will have more room to wave your arms, washing hair etc. The curtain will wrap 360º around you and the rod will be modular so it can also attach on the outside of the truck (near the utility door) to have a curtained outdoor shower area too. But most of the time we are a long way from the next human anyway, so we really enjoy the outdoor shower...
4. Not Really... I have a bluetooth OBDII reader that I use with Torque Pro on my phone when troubleshooting or when I need more data than my physical gages provide. I could also just toggle this onto my overhead screen, but haven't had the need yet.
Everlanders how did you find the kegs you use for water? I’m going to working on a build myself using an ambulance body. Really want to use the same system you have going on. It’s a great idea.
nice homestar reference :)
LOL at the homestar reference!
Push to start 7.3. Now that's awesome
Nice Rig!
