    Queen of Jazzipino Charmaine Clamor CharmaineClamor.com surprises her Helsinki audience at the 2013 Maailma Kylassa World Village Festival by closing her headlining set with a famous Filipino song -- sung in Finnish! (Translation by Charmaine.)
    The "heckler" at the end is actually screaming his thanks and love. "Kiitos" means "thank you" in Finnish. "Takiasi" means "because of you."

    What did the first part of the song mean? I'm sorry, I don't speak Finnish. I keep coming back to this everyday- It's a lovely classic Filipino song and I love her interpretation; I just wish I understood the beginning.

    She's NOT singing the song in Finnish. She just changed DAHIL SA IYO to Finnish, but the rest of the song is in its original Tagalog. Whakindda RIP-OFF is your title?? AWFUL INTERPRETATION! It's not meant to be jazzed up or a power ballad. It's a gentle romantic kundiman whose ENTIRE soul has been lost in this travesty!! Simply dreadful!!
