It was super popular
ESPECIALLY with how fucking toxic the fandom was. This is their first time playing it and when it was my first time (a few months beforehand funnily enough) I didn't know some of the stuff THEY knew. I did a bit better but that's because I played a hell of a lot of games and had experience with Paper Mario 1 when I was 10.
I'm surprised they actually completed it because of the fans.
I mean... I'm grateful for every second of this *compilation* x3

@@DamienDarksideBlog I won't lie I was definitely part of some of that toxicity, but it was because Dan really struggled to grasp basic mechanics dozens of hours into the game. I tried not to be too critical of the grumps, but it's literally their job to play video games.

I just wanted to say my wife and I basically leave Game Grumps playing on the TV 24/7 because our baby likes hearing you guys talk and all the colors on the screen. It also helps that we both enjoy watching, even if we have seen basically every episode multiple times at this point.

This was partially such a good play through because Arin wasn’t playing and could just zone out and be funny for once. He actually is a hilarious dude even when he is not playing bad and yelling at the tv.

@@Slowpoke3x utilizing the Stylish system can easily be the difference between "strong" and "unstoppable" with how it ramps you. It is by no way a necessary trick to go through the game obviously, but used correctly it is devastatingly powerful
They probably thought that "Stylish moves" just referred to doing the action command correctly, when really it's something else. Which is a shame, Stylish moves are half of what makes TTYD so satisfying to play and is super helpful in having SP to use.

This is one of my all time fav GG play throughs! They did some of the funniest dialogue with the characters, tho its also the horrible invention of the Grubba voice. Watching their enthusiasm rise and fall over the course of this game is magical every time. I think they'll honestly have more fun with Super paper Mario now.
