I rarely ever seen a video that shows how to be precise and accurate. This is the first, and I took up the hobby since last year June. This gentleman really takes time on aspects where most of newer people go wrong but without having to mention it, I just can pick up “yeah, true, that part the stitch holes didn’t line up” or “how the f do I cut straight?” And I struggled a lot with the latter as sometimes I cut too much on the line or too less and spending extra time restarting or shaving off. This is a great video and professional

All the old videos with you writing out the process definitely led to the mystery of the man behind the camera. But since you've gotten in front of the camera I really enjoy hearing you talk to the process. I also feel like it gives you more opportunity to explain more in depth. Continue being awesome, Artie

Thanks, sir!!! The talking makes the editing process twice as complicated. So instead of 50 hours to edit a video, it’s now 70. 😆

And I'm so new in this that I have some thin leather, and thread and a darned good imagination! Just have to get a nice design... And I don't have any fancy tools to make nice edges .. and no stitch pony. I would had a great help from one so I 'll make me one... 👍 I might be a crazy grandma, but I make it somehow! I noticed your glue is a lot thinner than mine. I use Barge and it is pretty thick. Does thinning it out effect the adhesion? Soak in to the leather better? Inquiring minds want to know.

Sandwiching a cut up soda can works but using the cloth I think would be more professional as you wouldn't have to hide it. Anyway that is my vote. A minimalist RFID blocking wallet.

I won’t be showing that ... my wallets are already too complex and thick, I’m not in the market to add more. 😆

Just found your videos this weekend (4/15/22) LOVE your vides, (most don't have annoying music, I enjoy the sound effects), well filmed and edited. Do you have a place where we can buy pdf patterns or links?

Thanks for that!!! It’s nice when folks appreciate the videography! (And rare). I don’t sell my designs.

Definitely worth losing a bit of sleep to watch this. Your work always turns out amazing! Where did you get the rasp style tool for roughing up the edges? Sorry not quite sure what it was called. May definitely have to look into getting me some of that leather if I can find some small enough off cuts to afford it. It looks amazing to work with!!!
