    thanks for the video and the insights into how to create patterns. On a different note, I remember in one of your videos you said that you were going to be answering one of the "burning questions" that a lot of people ask. that is "what is the white goop you are using when burnishing the flesh side of your leather?" . I have not seen a follow up after that. is that still in the plans to answer that or have you already done that, and I just missed it? thanks either way. appreciate all the videos you share with us!

    • @MasconLeather
      @MasconLeather  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes! That’s coming up.
      The ironic part about doing designated videos from 1,000s of “burning questions” is - when I do them, they don’t do well. Low views.
      Example- I’ve been asked 10,000+ times for a shop tour video. I finally did it, and it was barely watched (relatively speaking). So it’s a bit discouraging, from a creator’s perspective.

      I couldn’t agree more myself. Those that understand the workmanship of being a leather craftsmanship will and do truly appreciate the effort you put into making a video like the “shop tour”. As Bob Park signs his books “From my bench to yours” this video is in the same realm, from your bench to ours. I enjoy seeing your set up and seeing how you lay your shop out. Unless i am not accurate there aren’t many videos like that. So thank you for the video and opening up your shop to show everyone else. I am excited and eager to learn what the “white mud” is. Schönes Modell. Ich verstehe nur nicht, warum so viel Verschnitt anfallen muß. Man kann es doch auch ohne so viel Abfall herstellen. Immerhin starb dafür ein Tier. Etwas mehr Demut wünsche ich mir. Nicht nur hier, sondern auch in vielen anderen CZcams-Filmen für Leďerarbeiten.

      Translation- Nice model. I just don't understand why so much waste has to be made. You can also make it without so much waste. After all, an animal died for it. I wish for a little more humility. Not only here, but also in many other CZcams films for editing.
