I'm originally from Connecticut and moved to Florida a year ago. I gave up my apartment and everything in it and packed what I could fit in my car and drove here to florida!! I absolutely love the Costa Vicentina. I think I've mentioned before, although the Peniche area is where I intend to live full time, the Costa Vicentina will call me back regularly. One of the great things about Portugal is it's easy to get around and you can drive from the south to the north in only 5, 5.5 hours... and for a Canadian, that's nothing!! I love how you featured the trails... I call them my cliff walks. They are everywhere along the entire coast.
Brittany your pronunciation is really great for a non-native speaker. You've mentioned you are French and Drew is from the US. Did you grow up outside of the US?

We love Portugal and we were lucky enough to have visit in September 2019. We visited Lisbon and Porto but we were unable to go to the southern part of Portugal. Thanks for showing us the southern region and that hiking trail! That will be our next adventure when we head out there again! Looking forward to your next video!

Bravo, im visiting the US after living in Portugal for two years, been here 5 days and I miss my van life home in Portugal. Just entering a US airport had me ready to turn back. Definitely shortening my visit here. Portugal = ZEN.

@@natureloversadventures7335 Yes, we live in a van with two big dogs! We do not have a CZcams channel, although I've teased my husband we should.
@@Mrandmrsadventure Yes. My husband did everything on his own. (No lawyer expenses) You just have to prove that you will have 1000 € monthly to support yourself. We did contact the Portuguese embassy in the US and they were extremely helpful. I know this may be a bit premature, but we came over on the Queen Mary due to one of our dogs not being able to fly. With sailing you can bring as much luggage as will fit into your cabin. Try to avoid the expense of shipping a container. Portugal has everything you will need. Just bring whatever is sentimental to you.
@@AndNowIWrite Love hearing your experience and how everything worked for you both and your pups. 💚 The D7 now requires you have a 1 year lease for the application...which is not the easiest for for someone who wants to scope out various regions.

We traveled to Portugal 3 years ago and loved it! We are currently trying to figure out that perfect spot to land for an extended period but someplace in the Algarve is our first choice so far. Great video!!!

You video looks lovely. However I wasn't sure to see from the video what made it great. the videos from your previous travel in Greece looked much richer with beauty, which I loved very much watching. The combination of mountains, landscapes, history, seas, culture etc. It had something miraculous.
The sea in the the video looked lovely and I liked the coherent houses with white and orange from the aerial shot though
