The daughter being a nurse and ending up saving Darc's life is underrated. Cheesy revenge flick yes, but that setup/payoff was good writing

Two biggest problems with Darc - besides being another typical revenge flick: First time director who worked mainly as Steven Seagal's partner - and a first time actor, who worked in the Security and intelligence field, and he wrote the movie. My guess is he wrote this for Seagal but when he passed he decided to make it himself with Seagal's partner.
If not even Seagal will make it. That's pretty bad

I've seen the full version. Decent version of familiar theme. Assente is as always brilliant! Vastly underrated. Stole Judge Dredd as Rico!

So many stupid decision made by the MC. Surprise he was able to live as long as he did.
I actually buy it here. Because the movie establishes two things, the Kageyama family is sadistic and like up close kills. So you arent left wondering why they would drag out his punishment giving him time to escape. Or why the grandfather would come im close enough to be stabbed at the end.
I was enjoying the movie until Ivy was killed in front of Darc, I hated that part, so I had to dislike the video, Ivy was not supposed to be killed 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭

Big error at the end as Darc is being driven away to be killed. The narrator says Darc kills everyone in the SUV. Then one of the dead men in the SUV calls Ginzo to tell him that he is dead along with the others in the SUV. Oh, and all of a sudden the daughter is a nurse to save Darc, comon man...

While I liked the action sequences, the movie suffers from terrible directing (the director, Julian Nasso, was Steven Seagal's partner - with Darc being his directing debut). I get the feeling this was originally meant for Seagal but when he passed the writer - Tony Shiena, making his film debut - ended up doing it.
