Now that there is less play with the dolls my plan was to store in containers like you have done. The crib idea is fantastic, I have wood for my many projects that could be stored like that & I'm sure I could find an old crib at a garage sale.

75-80 dolls, Including off brands? I love how you store your back drops! Do you store your foam board the same way? Im struggling with space saving storage to prevent warping. :)
Yes! The first backdrop I picked up (pink wallpaper) is foam board. I keep all my foam board stored like this.
Your doll collection is so big!!! I bet you have almost 50 - 70 dolls!!! 😃

Covering dolls with clear plastic bags is how my mother kept her collection on shelves going down to her basement from floor to ceiling shelving and all in view except those in their original boxes that were kept on other shelves in the basement hallway. I like mine out ...but I like how you are keeping them in plastic bins.
I store my dolls standing up in storage containers. I also store them in their original meet outfits, however, I do like the idea of taking the outfits off and storing the dolls.

I store my dolls in my room on shelves. I use my dolls for seasonal displays in my house. I do use plastic boxes for storage of clothes and accessories.
Loved the video and seeing the doll storage! We store our dolls in our school room (we homeschool) and they all stand together in a corner of the room. Except the 14 inch dolls - they are usually sitting on our 18 inch doll bunk bed. I read in the comments that you have a Barbie room...would love to see that!!! ❤️
I have used containers like those in the past. It does protect dolls pretty well. I also use the clear plastic zipper bags that comforters come in . Dolls can stand inside there, the zipper closes the bag to protect from dust, and you can see through the bag. Usually there is one open corner allowing the inside to breath to avoid mildew. Spiders can get in though, so that’s a drawback. Also stacking one on top of another doesn’t work well. Very glad here to see a video from you. I really think your channel is more of a crafting channel then just a toy channel. I do love your reviews though. Have you compared the bowling ally from AG verses the one from OG yet. I would love to see that to help me decide which one to get my great granddaughter for Christmas. Also, OG has a theater. Have you reviewed it? I do remember you crafted a bowling alley several years back. I wonder if the AG lanes would fit inside that framework? Anyway, I love your channel. Congratulations on your wonderful craft room. I love that table!
I store my dolls on my floor...yep my mom has gotten me so many organization things but they don't work I think it's a side-effect of adhd (witch I have) to be this messy but it works for me I've just order a new thing to organize my doll clothes witch I'm excited to use!!!
My AG of today from 21 years ago had the legs go loose just by sitting flat in the box it came in. There is no perfect way to store. However, my Samantha doll was just fine stored the same way, and it's older. I think the tights she wears helped.

I have a question on using the storage bins. I heard mixed reviews about using the clear storage bins. Have you had any issues with using the bins? I want to use them to store my daughters American Girl dolls but want to make sure it is safe to do so. They would be placed in the bins and kept in and air conditioned closet. Thank you.

Hi I love your channel for ideas but do your kids REALLY play with the toys and also do they ever craft like do you make duplicates to see if the video will work if so what do you do with the duplicates?
Sometimes I do make duplicates! Most of the time I’ve given them away if it’s something larger.

I store my dolls kinda like you but instead of one box being all blond hair dolls, they are all mix. and they are in two big boxes which both of them hold nine dolls each while I have two that I have on display. So, I'm going to guess you have 40 of the American girl type dolls while 25 of the off brands.

Where should I store my dolls? I have nine and I used to just sit them ontop of 2 of my doll beach house and caravan in my closet,, I don't have any boxes and I don't know where to store them?

I only have a couple dolls and I just place them nicely in my doll house. Also is there any way to fix old hair that's been brushed with a normal brush? My very first doll I got when I was like 8 I didn't know needed a special brush 😂
Hey. I don't know if this is an option for you, but if you can, and it is that bad, then definitely would reccomend sending the doll to get a new wig or head. The A.G. store itself would help with that. Also, there are many methods on CZcams or the internet, so you can hopefully help with that.

@@ayvsworld6687 Yeah. No problem! I made the same mistake. I used to be obsessed with A.G. and was a younger collector at one point, so I did have two of my dolls get replacements. I will admit, it definitely is an easy mistake. I got my first doll at 6 and stopped having most interest about 4 years ago. I am 16 now and am not into it anymore, but will for sure pass it on to my kids.
In the future of course.
U have so much doll stuff and dolls I only have like six dolls and I think that’s o lot I only have like 4 sets for my AG dolls
we store our dolls in our doll rooms and we don't really need to worry about dust because we play with them every day.
also we don't have backdrops ):
I store my dolls in my room and they are in tall laundry baskets standing up I have six dolls so it's not that hard to store them and I use wrapping paper for my backdrops and I think you have ninety dolls.
