Tonight we will speak with Chuy and his friend Raymond who had an encounter in Idaho in the Snake River Canyon system. Chuy believes that this encounter has led to multiple strange occurrences at and around his home.
Chuy writes, ""I have a really good friend who is a federal investigator and we are both firm believers of these creatures. He has talked to me about portals and other stuff that he knows about being an federal investigator and all. Well we have heard of several accounts of people seeing these creatures in our canyon system. We decided to go down to the part of the canyon that is literally down the street from my house. We wanted to just explore the area and see if there were any signs of these creatures in the area.
Well something did happen that lead to a series of events that are still going on to this day...
We started hearing twigs break and like movement around us. Whatever it was it sounded like multiple large animals.
As we were walking I was straight up terrified and was sure whatever was out there was going to grab me off the trail. All of a sudden I saw a huge black mass on the side of the trail ahead of us and then it ran across the trail on two legs and it was massive and blacker than the dark around it. I was praying that my eyes were playing tricks on me then my friend says it just crossed the trail in front of us. He confirmed what I thought I saw and I lost it. I tried to run but he assured me it will be worse if I ran. So we back tracked and high tailed it out of the canyon and it followed us the whole way making noises and stuff...
...Well it doesn’t end there. Personally the scariest was still to come...
... I think something followed me home and we have had several other weird things happen, my wife and two small kids seeing things that are alarming.”

I personally think if the government released all their information to us, that the vast majority of the general population would not be able to handle it.
So for those that couldn’t handle it, it would devastate our national parks economy, tourists outdoor adventures.
There’s a much larger majority of people that do outdoor adventures, that are not hunters like myself and some others. On the flipside some hunters would probably seek this thing out, and try to kill it, which could also end up in a disaster I think.
So this is one case where I don’t totally fault the government for keeping it a secret.
I mean think about it, look what the majority of the population does as soon as they’re afraid of a shortage, they go out and buy toilet paper of all things.
Seriously what are you gonna do with toilet paper. I’m thinking peanut butter and crackers and water if I’m trying to survive.
My point is the general population is not really that sharp. At least I feel that most people don’t make good calculated decisions, they don’t think about their situation before hand preparation.
I’m totally open to other peoples ideas, and I’m not stating this as fact, this is just what I think.

Thanks so much for the hard work you put in to make Sasquatch Chronicles work! The only thing that I would wish that you can change is on some episodes people that you interview say that they have pictures of some of their experiences or witness. I wish you could put some of the pictures on the show as you interview. I understand some pictures would not be possible due to the graphic nature. I hope somehow you receive this comment. I'm going to continue to hunt, and camp, and explore the wilderness where I live, and enjoy nature the way I've always had. Chuy seems like that type of guy to me as well. I've listened to hundreds of episodes now and I think about 90% or more are absolute lies. You start seeing patterns with the liars. For example, They can talk forever about what was going on before or after. Yet they briefly mention the actual encounter. They are short on details of what it actually looked like. Their experience is very similar to many other encounters. And as soon as they claim more than one experience, you know they are lying. There must be some psychology research some where which looks into peoples need to be part of a group and what they are willing to do to get in.

My dad’s gone now but both of his grandparents were homesteaders in Northern Idaho, he was most definitely old school and logged with horses among other things. He knew the woods like the back of his hand.
I wish I had been more aware of this when he was alive. I can’t imagine him not seeing something during his time. He was very stern when telling me about predators and we would discuss what we would do. Cougars, Black Bear, and Grizzly. But when I look back at those conversations and how mad he was at me for choosing to live basically in the wilderness, his anger may have been for other reasons.
Funny thing is I’m a big freaking
scar-dee-cat and have spent the majority of my almost 60 years in these areas. Lol Off grid over a decade straight now.
Also have done a lot of work in Twin Falls.
One amazing home was the dream home of a wealthy couple that overlooked the canyon, one of the most unique homes I’ve seen. We found out the couple only lived there a very short time. Appreciate due to “medical issues” they couldn’t stay and moved back to the Sun Valley area.

Cougars can jump like a mofo. Some of these stories I think could be cougars. Idk but it'd make sense, especially in populated areas. Populated areas usually mean bird feeders and lots of deer. Would make sense a cougar would get on a roof whenever possible if it's stalking through the neighborhood. They're also called mountain lions for a reason. Cats hunt from above

    • @brianbishop4753
      @brianbishop4753 Před 5 měsíci

I’m not an expert, nor claim to be. Just have watched thousands of hours of nature programs and had cats since a young age. Cats are either tree dwellers (high ground) or bush dwellers (low ground), both are ambush styles. It depends on the environment. Big cats in North America like Lynx, Bobcat, Cougar who live in areas with hills and plenty of trees, mostly attack from above. Florida, for example, have Cougars or “Panthers”, that use the think bush areas for ambush attacks. Domestic cats do the same. But yes, you have a perfect point about a big cat being on the roof. On the mountain hiking trails in L.A. California there are warnings about Cougars being in the area. One of the park officials was explaining to some other tourists that if the Cougars would attack, they usually and he stressed “usually” donut from the areas that are higher than the prey they are after.

I'm a new subscriber & I HAVE to share my experience. I'm also a Christian (my grandfather was excommunicated from the Amish community in Bellfountaine Ohio). You don't know me but I DO NOT LIE-- And I especially wouldn't make up some outrageous take that's gonna cause me to be mocked & ridiculed.
On Sept 30, 1978 (I remember cause my eldest sister was having her Sweet 16 slumber party so me & my 12 yr old sister Robin went to babysit our younger cousins. Their house was a split level that my uncle built. Very remote. Right near the Highland/Adam's County line in southcentral Ohio.
    My cousins were 8, 6 and 4.
We romped around the house and about tore the house down. And I've heard that Bigfoot are attracted to kids. Anyway when we went to bed (Rusty & Roger were in Becky's bedroom & we had the boys room. We heard Rusty say, "What is that?!"
We looked up and saw SOMETHING walk past the window. It was TALL,. No shoulders, really & the profile of a lowland gorilla.
We ALL saw it (but Roger was 4 so he doesn't really remember details) but all these years later, if you were to ask Rusty or Becky and they will give u the same account that I just did. And my sister was a stupid puppet and said, till the day she died, "we saw SOMETHING but if you go telling people, I'll swear you're lying".
Now my maternal grandparents lived farther east from there way up in a holler outside of Peebles. I spent alot of time there. I knew that holler-- every creekbed, every cliff. Now this is what still weirds me out & makes the hair on my arms stand up after all these years. There were a few times that I recall playing down by the creek and me & grandpapa would collect rocks & I remember suddenly feeling like I was being watched. I could FEEL it and I didn't dare turn around cause each time it happened I KNEW if I did turn & see what it was that I wouldn't be able to handle it. And I would be seized with such a panic TERROR really and I'd run as fast as my legs could carry me back up the hill to the house.
And my uncle lived on the other side of Peebles and was an avid hunter for 60 years & he said many times, he'd hear something that sounded like a horse "nickering" or a short chatter. And he too, would swear that he was being followed sometimes.
I told a boyfriend in 1990 about all this. And he was just humoring me, acting like he believed me till one night he called me a excited. "Turn on the news. There was a Bigfoot sighting in Urbana Ohio. I believe you now! I'm sorry I didn't believe you!" Then at a family reunion, he got Rusty off by themselves & Rusty verified what I said.
Then in 1996, there was a lady named Angie Martin had a thing in the Hillsboro paper, saying she was doing research for some cryptozoologist out in Washington & she wanted people to contact her who had seen Bigfoot near the Highland/ Adam's county line. She said people were coming forward left & right.
I know this was a long story. But for skeptics, I want to ask: IF we were indeed making this up, why would four people present all swear to the exact same account (well cut out my dumb sister)?
And even if FOUR people, young kids, were on acid or PCP or suffered from delusional mental illness, what are the chances that we would ALL have the exact same hallucination?
    We wouldn't!

You dont point a gun at anything that you dont fully intend to destroy. If you're going to point it, be fully prepared to shoot it. Theres literally no point at all of carrying a gun if you don't even plan on pointing it at the thing that you are carrying that gun to protect yourself from. They arent immortal, they aren't supernatural, and bullets absolutely WILL kill them, just like any other living and breathing creature on the planet.

I've watched a bunch of your shows but this one tops them all and this is the first one I've ever commented on. Your guests were awesome. I'd love to meet them. But I'm in Montana and I don't hardly want to entertain the idea of ever leaving Montana again, though I won't say why. Only heard of one report of Bigfoot activity in this area of southwest Montana and that was from my friend who said he had heard some tree knocks a few miles from his house on another highway. I only have a 44 special single action revolver and so since I'm not really armed sufficiently enough for grizzlies I don't think I'd feel comfortable investigating Sasquatch with such a weapon. At the same time I have no desire to shoot one. And if I ever came across one I've already determined that I'm going to make every attempt to not point a weapon at it and to talk to it and tell it that I come in peace and mean it no harm. But of course that doesn't mean I won't be shitting myself while I'm trying to get those words out.

@@joeysweet9045 a handgun would be sufficient if its a large enough caliber. General rule of thumb tho: handguns put holes in things, rifles put holes through things. A large caliber rifle would be preferable. Ive never had any "positive" encounters with these creatures, and its best to just not go looking for them at all. Thats how people end up becoming Missing 411 stories. This dude thinks he is going to talk to it and explain to it that "he comes in peace, and means no harm". He better just stay out of the woods altogether. Thats ridiculously absurd to think that a predator of that caliber won't try to harm you because you didn't try to harm it.
