I love the A Quiet Place movies so much, and my favourite thing about them is that they turn a disability into a strength. Most movies depict disabilities as a curse, and disabled people as poor, helpless victims of their own disability. These movies depict a disability - in this specific case deafness - as a major advantage. This girl, Regan, as well as her family, already has the advantage of Sign Language, which you can communicate in in complete silence. And then there's of course the hearing aids, which create feedback whenever the monsters are near, and the monsters are weak to the frequency the feedback produces.
Millicent Simmonds, the actor who plays Regan, is deaf in real life. She's stated in interviews that she's *not* a victim of her disability, and that she's happy the way she is, and she does a great job in bringing awareness that deafness is not a bad thing, and that deaf people aren't someone you should pity.
It's a shame that more movies don't do the same as this one, where they hire actually disabled people to play disabled people. We disabled people can act too, and we deserve to see ourselves in media, especially as the hero, like Regan.

Remember the Abbots were walking on soft sand cushioned paths for the span of a bit over a year since the invasion. They didn't build up any calluses doing that. Emmett wore boots because he was living in a place full of not soft stuff to step on (and I take it spent most of his time with that 3 feet of concrete above him so he didn't have to move as silently). The aliens don't actually swim. The one in the basement could touch the floor and keep it's head up if it needed to. The son was just getting up higher to use the binoculars to see if he could see if his mother was coming. The monsters are not designed to kill, they attack sound because it hurts them. They came down in a meteor shower so they likely lived in a place sans atmosphere or sound, in a the vacuum of space.

In the first movie the water was just in the basement so the creature was just walking and ducking into the water.

In the first one the monster was swimming in wall that was shallow enough for them to stand up in. That move drowned because this body of water was much deeper.
Redeye is a great suspense movie with Cillian Murphy, and Rachel McCadams.
I know it's been mentioned here already but Djimon Hounsou is a two time Academy Award nominated actor. Neither nomination was for his best performance in Amistad. He been puttin in work. Put some respect on his name.

Why would you assume they swim?
They are thin, heavily armored, appear to breathe oxygen, Sonic sensors.
They just look like they’d sink like a stone in water.
Also when they open their head to hear better they drown almost instantly. I know we hadn’t seen this yet but we see it in day one

Great reaction! On the subject of Oppenheimer, you will also see Emily Blunt in that as well as Cillian Murphy. She plays his wife. Both do a fantastic job in that movie (as well as they do in this one)

They don't always Kill Djimon Honsou. Watch The Island. A Fantastic Action Sci-Fi that takes place in the near Future. You will love it. Also starring Scarlett Johansson, Ewan McGregor, and Steve Buscemi among many more. Thank Me later

If you want to see a movie with Djimon Hounsou as a main character , watch Blood Diamond. Even with Leonardo Dicaprio, Djimon is still the main character in that movie for me. Stunning performance. Trust me.
LOL, both this movie and Extraction 2 (awesome movie, by the way) had me yelling, "Stupid stupid kid!". Not just Edge of Tomorrow, but also Minority Report, Oblivion & War of the Worlds are all great Tom Cruise sci-fi movies. Keanu Reeves has a great sci-fi movie in Johnny Mnemonic. The rest of the Terminator franchise movies will satisfy your sci-fi itch pretty well too. Granted, I do not think any of them are as good as Terminator 2, but still very fun sci-fi that furthers the story. I think Terminator: Dark Fate is even the best sequel since T2. Tron: Legacy, The Fly, Annihilation, TimeCop, Cyborg, The Island, Pacific Rim are all great sci-fi.

Humans cannot swim either so the aliens being able to not swim isn't shocking. Humans have to learn to swim and someone has to teach us. It isn't an inate ability

Honestly Marcus was so annoying this movie😂 screaming his head off at first with the foot thing, then knocking over a bunch of BS for no reason when he could’ve just sat still for five more seconds. Telling his sister to forget about going to help save the human race. Almost KILLING him and his little brother because he is such a panicker

My thought is that the creatures aren't intelligent and they came here by accident. Not every animal on Earth swim (I googled it and 25 animals can't.)
I love your reactions, but I have to admit, i get disappointed when you guys check for the time. Half the fun is not knowing exactly how much time is left in a movie when you're watching, especially as it starts to ramp up.

What this movie shows is that it makes no sense that the aliens took over especially in a county like America. They can be killed with one shot, so how did they take over a country like America with more guns then there are people with excluding the armed forces?
They can’t be killed with one shot 😂, have you even watched these films? They are basically giant ears covered in titanium armor. They discover in the 1st film that her broken hearing aide tone messes with them enough to separate their armor enough to get a shot through.

You guys definitely do better reactions with movies made in the last few years. Don't waste your time watching dull older movies, certainly not older than 15 - 20 years. The older movies confuse you and produce mediocre videos but when you stick to more recent stuff, it doesn't challenge you in the same way and you are more comfortable to relax and produce good reaction videos. You really are lost with anything much older than that that. Love your videos!
