gosh this brings back memories of when i went to france... i want to get the ferry to calais and back just for the sake of being on a ferry. it was an 8 hour drive to get to Dover but i mean it was worth it LOL

Tip to make youre life easier: Go in the night its much cheaper and there will be barely any traffic so you can get around quicker if you want.

Why ferrry instead of Euro Tunnel? Is it cheaper?

Imp 50 The ferry is something like £20 cheaper. Depending on how quickly we want to get to France, sometimes we get the tunnel and sometimes we get the ferry. As I'm returning from Spain today, I'll be using the tunnel.

Yeah, you're not allowed on the car deck during the journey so you go upstairs to the lounges plus other amenities on-board.
