Thanks for putting the lyrics up, still it's more accurate to say it was recorded at the time of the "AYNIN" album, but is not actually part of it. An extra track for a 2010s non-album collection, like all the others not on album and just drifting in space.
Actually found this tune to be very under rated. Bad quality here, vocals seem transposed up a whole step, but I liked this better than others on the album. A little flat in dynamics perhaps, but I still love it. Bridge sounds like a Warren solo.
In spite of what losers love stating, they know exactly (apart from 1983 and 1985) what not to add to albums. Albums are generally bang on. I still say that 'Like An Angel' is one of their worst ever things. It probably is, a retarded mess and Simon sounds like he has learning difficulties singing it. The music does too, the most distorted, backwards attempt from Rhodes and recapturing the beautifully drunk and leery keyboard refrain from 'Rio''s chorus and getting it so WRONG. And at 4:44, that ghastly tune is an endurance test, in a way DD hardly ever do. Including their covers album!

It's perfect as is ... instrumentals and vocals. One of their best.
