Is that a circuit breaker? We had 12 of those devices that looked similar to that in my welding class mounted on the wall. They were circuit breakers for all the welders. I remember one of them kept tripping when you welded for long periods of time.

You should see 4 holes. They are for ABC & N. I don't know the conduit ground that you mention. For busway application. Ground is the metal housing, or for more expensive solution, they also have the configuration ABCN & PEN. In this case, you'll see 5 holes for plug in.
Ok , So I am now officially confused...I thought when a conductor was ran from the bus ..thru conduit...the conduit had to be grounded from plug to next enclosure..? Inside the Plug?
When you up and down that mechanism from left side, you on and off current on cirucit breaker ?

n310ea yes, my friend. It has a circuit breaker inside to protect the load circuit.

I meant do you not have to ground conduit coming off the plug? Where is it attached? Just to the enclosure.? Thx.

motel29 the housing carries the ground in this model bus duct. So you bond conduit to the plug housing which bonds to the bus duct housing.

please kindly use correct English. If you can't plug in, meaning you did sth wrong, please check if you align the tap-off unit right way.
