- ⋆Today we are checking out the newly released CLOSED BETA for Unbridled: That Horse Game. A game we first saw back in 2021 when I showcased the instagram and started following the development of the game, we then played it for the first time in early 2022 during which many beta versions were released on Patreon. A few months ago we got the FREE Steam Unbridled: Horse Creator which showcased the look of the new horses the team had been working on. Leading up to now, we have a closed beta for Unbridled! I wasn't sure how to feel going into it, and am still unsure after playing. There feels like there is less features then earlier making me feel like I am playing a different game almost. I think the team has changed game engines, and this is more of a look at where the game is going now. Let me know what you think! Regardless, I am always happy to see more horse games in development, and to continue seeing their progress over the next few months - or years haha!⋆

Thank you for sharing our closed beta! In this beta version, we have rebuild the entire game using the latest Unreal Engine 5. It's a big upgrade, and adding multiplayer was a tough task for just one programmer (and took the longest). Everything we had in the test phases before will be back, but better! All the features are getting polished up for the final game! ♥
that's what I thought! Massive undertaking to rebuild it 🫶 super excited to see the future after seeing the previous build of the game!
it's great to hear that many more features will be added! One of the hardest and most expensive things in creating a game is animation so it's understandably not perfect but still look great.

It looks like it has a lot of potential! Hopefully they can get what they need to fixed! I would play if the animations were better.
I think smoother animations would definitely give the game a nicer feel!
This has nothing to with the game (which is awesome. It looks so good rn and can't wait for final release.) but your hair is always so pretty. I've been trying to grow mine out since March after a stylist ruined it and I am so jealous of your hair
aw thank you! Honestly have a love hate relationship with my hair - but am thankful for how long I can grow it! I started growing out from shoulder length hair in about 2018 and had a trim every year. Recently though I've only had a trim once in the past 2 years - finding a good hair stylist can be hard!
This looks great but I have one question… what’s the difference between this game and Astride? Both look very similar, and I know that they may have different plans in terms of the story but looking forward to this one too!
they are indeed different games! The Horse models and everything are actually different. This is something interesting for me though because I do think a lot of horse games in development right now are striving to be *the* horse game which includes everything anyone could have thought of. It makes me wonder - who will actually become that horse game?
how do u install it?
you have to be a patreon! You then get an email with a steam key. I'm not sure however if they are still being given out, you'd have to check the patreon!

I was able to get this closed beta and honestly…. It sucked. Disappointing
