I'm so glad you put Pahla B up. I started watching and doing her workouts when I retired in 2020 and just love how they are so moderate but you get such benefits. I turned 65 in 2021 and feel so great. I try to walk, do Pahla or weights at least 4-5 times a week. Being 65 and retired and being a nana to 4 wonderful grandchildren keeps me very busy and I love it. I have also grown my hair over the last 2 years and like the new length. I tried to go gray but it wasn't a nice gray and so I went back to colouring it every 3 months and I love it. Your videos are amazing. I love your voice. Happy birthday.

Growing old has taught me so many things. I am wiser because I don't worry about the small stuff. And I listen more!!! I celebrate ME more than I used to. I went grey 8yrs ago. It was a wonderful and beautiful decision. I have always loved makeup , but I decided to change my makeup, clothes, colours and it has given me a much softer gentler look. I experiment more and have decided to become adventurous. CZcams has helped me a lot in this. I wear feathers in my hair, bright hats when I go out in the sun. I learnt to walk in my high heels again 😃( during covid lockdown) I dance around my home and listen to music . I tidy my house all dressed up ,earnings and either a hat on or a big flower in my hair. I am enjoying this time of my life with my beloved husband of 45years children and grandchildren and friends. When we can see each other. Thank you for reading my essay ( retired teacher) hahaha! I’m always lifting/feeding bales of hay or working on the yard so I get my exercise that way. I figure we can’t outrun aging so we might as well enjoy it!!

Hi Kerry-Lou, and Happy Birthday! It's funny you brought up the color analysis. As I was watching you, the first thing that I was thinking was, how great you look in that deep plum/violet color. Goes great with your hair, and skin tone. Also like your your hair blown out that way. I haven't had my hair cut since this covid stuff, so it's longer than it's ever been since I was a small child. Thank goodness for pony-tails! LOL! I just had my first dose of vaccine. No problems but a slightly sore arm. I've had more soreness from some of the Flu shots. No other side effects. It's the second shot that gives me a slight amount of trepidation. Been hearing from some of those folks that have had # 2, that is when they got the flu like symptoms of fever, aches and pains, for a day or two. But, like you, I have grown kids and grands that I want to see and hug badly. I'll take feeling a bit under the weather for a day or two, for that payoff. My 23 year old son (he was 2 when we came here) is Australian through and through at work/with his friends but is hands down Manc when he walks through our front door 😆 and has a wicked sense of humour. I celebrated my 57 birthday in December and it lasted 1 week at home Covid style. I really had a great time and I loved every minute. Most of my friends who are even younger now want want to keep their bd quiet 😂

BUT...I’ve had two surgeries in the last year with 2 1/2 months recovery (each) before I could get back to a workout. I’m getting there...I ALSO paint! Building a new house so I can have a studio!!! Enjoy painting again! I took up watercolor in 2020. A feeling of anxiousness at first then fun and satisfaction as technique improves.

It's funny you brought up the color analysis. As I was watching you, the first thing that I was thinking was, how great you look in that deep plum/violet color. Goes great with your hair, and skin tone. Also like your your hair blown out that way. I haven't had my hair cut since this covid stuff, so it's longer than it's ever been since I was a small child. Thank goodness for pony-tails! LOL! I just had my first dose of vaccine. No problems but a slightly sore arm. I've had more soreness from some of the Flu shots. No other side effects. It's the second shot that gives me a slight amount of trepidation. Been hearing from some of those folks that have had # 2, that is when they got the flu like symptoms of fever, aches and pains, for a day or two. But, like you, I have grown kids and grands that I want to see and hug badly. I'll take feeling a bit under the weather for a day or two, for that payoff.

@@kerrylou3 I can relate. I am originally from Stretford (I usually joke and say 'the dodgy end' 😉) - moved to Urmston in my teens . Hubby is from Eccles. And yes our accents have softened over the last twenty years. My 23 year old son (he was 2 when we came here) is Australian through and through at work/with his friends but is hands down Manc when he walks through our front door 😆 and has a wicked sense of humour. I celebrated my 57 birthday in December and it lasted 1 week at home Covid style. I really had a great time and I loved every minute. Most of my friends who are even younger now want want to keep their bd quiet 😂

Happy Birthday! Mine is on the 29th! I will be 63 as well...AND I’ve gained about 8 pounds too! BUT...I’ve had two surgeries in the last year with 2 1/2 months recovery (each) before I could get back to a workout. I’m getting there...I ALSO paint! Building a new house so I can have a studio!!! Love it! This ‘time of life’ is amazing!!!

Happy Birthday! I’m 62 and hang on to the bitter end before moving on to the next year. But I always tell my real age because I work hard on fighting aging. Good for you losing those unwanted pounds, you look fabulous. I also joined WW 3 years ago, lost 30 pounds and have maintained that loss to become a lifetime member. I agree about portion control. Looking forward to your next videos. CZcams has saved me this past year....

Happy Birthday, Kerry Lou! I will be 63 in August and learned from my grandfather to declare one year older... so by January I’ll be 64, right? Lol. He said the gestation period counted! Enjoy painting again! I took up watercolor in 2020. A feeling of anxiousness at first then fun and satisfaction as technique improves.
