I also got a 23 HR-V. I love it. I got the EX-L white with the light grey interior. I notice that as it breaks in, it's even more smooth and not as laggy after 1k miles. I haven't been on a long trip but, for daily driving the seats feel comfy & structured. I have noticed them break in a tiny bit softer as well! I think you will love your car for a long time 🩷
Your HR-V sport looks really nice with the black rims and I like the color of it. I bought the 2023 Honda CR-V EXL and it's my third one, before it I had a 2008 CR-V EX and after it I had a 2020 CR-V EX which got totaled due to someone losing control on high water on the highway and taking my CR-V out.
I’ve had 5 Accords Sport. I Always lease for same reasons. I have a Honda Passport now which I love. I just got a new Honda HR-V sport in black for my girlfriend. And she loves it. 🙏🏾. Honda Gang 😎 👍🏾
I have the HRV EXL in red! I actually think it’s pretty fast! It’s only slow for me in eco mode. I love all the features and how smooth it drives, I’ve noticed the seats are a bit stiff, but I think I’ve broken them in more now.
I bought a 2023 HRV Sport a few weeks back to keep for a long time. The only thing is I get a weird error sometimes saying to clean the windshield when it’s perfectly clean. It happens when I park close to a building painted in a certain color which I suspect it thinks is dirt!
Love the new car! Worked on them before when I used to work at Honda, very nice and definitely a huge upgrade from the previous generation forsure. I wished they made a 1.5t version, or I think they did but havent really looked at the options
I think I made a great decision. I also purchased a 2023 hr-v sport 2wd today. At first I wanted the white on black, until the salesman said he saw the black and black on the truck and showed me the pictures. And I said I’ll take it and no one hasn’t test driven yet. 🙂 I wish it has a wireless Apple CarPlay. Only the ex-l only has it.

It goes from 0 to 60 MPH in 10-13 seconds depending on the mode. Use a timer to see just how slow 10 seconds are. In that time you'll get ran over several times as you try to merge with highway traffic going 70-80 MPH in tight spots. I considered this car too to save money but I'm not getting anything slower than a CRV which is still somewhat slow.
I have the same car. Life the look almost like a Porsche but I found I had better gas mileage in my 2013 accord that I drove for 10 years I do love the look of this car

I have a 2017 Honda Civic and love it and plan to drive it till it gives out which won’t happen for a long time. I have 35K miles on it. Already paid it off. If I were to lease, I would probably lease a luxury car brand. Honda’s are built to last and having no car payment is awesome.
The newest Honda HR-V outside North America is a completely different model. The new “HR-V” you have in the US is also sold in China, but with a different name.
Only lease if you make a ton of money and can afford to essentially lose a lot more money than buying it and selling it in a few years. Otherwise it's an extremely poor financial decision. The lease on a 2023 Honda HRV is about $340-$380 a month for 36 months (depending on yearly mileage limit) + $2,000-$4,500 due at signing. So in 3 years you pay $14,240-$16,740 for the lease. If you purchase it instead, the same HRV Sport Trim would be worth about $23K after 3 years (considering their 4-5% annual depreciation rate). Which means every 3 years, you're losing $6-$8K vs buying the car and selling it in 3 years. $6-8K every 3 years is $18K-$24K every 20 years. $18K-$24K placed in a compound interest account would turn into $40-$50K every 20 years, which means you're actually losing $13-$16K every 3 years you switch into a new lease vs just buying it and selling it after 3 years. It's like buying your house, and then in 3 years you sell it but you pay someone to buy it from you.
@@Explorewithgg Right, most people who do it only do so for 2-3 years and then buy the car off after term ends and don't lease another one for the next 20+ years, but if you lease one every 2-3 years for 30+ years, that's kinda crazy and probably only done by 1% of the 20% who lease a car. Dealers also love leasing because they make x2+ more money leasing a car to someone vs selling it to them. So on a $35K car, they make $13k gross profit leasing vs about $7K gross profit selling. We should be getting rid of new car dealers for sure, Volvo already said it's going to be all online by 2023.
Im not that smart to understand all of that maths but I would only buy a car in full, if I didnt have enough money I would wait until I did. I think financing a car is a option for those who are not doing so well financially. Just wasting money by financing.
@@oscar7476 I would disagree that financing a car is an option for those who are doing poor financially. It's completely fine to finance as long as the cost of the car is 50% of your net income, most people who buy a new car, finance it.. Cars and homes are the 2 things you should finance.

Yes but Honda has programs where if you hop into another lease you pretty much just turn in the used one and pay nothing extra for it. Not sure if other brands do the same which is why I have not switched from Honda

thinking about such a car for my wife, because she almost always uses heels (10 cm) so it must be able to run in heels (do not want to change shoes every time she should run), have you tried with heels ?, she has a Mercedes today, and it is easy to run in heels
The Hrv finally looks better than the Vezel version. The 2023 HRV looks why better than the 2023 Vezel. If no one knows what the Vezel is, it basically the same make as the HRV but looks way better. Check out the 2019 Vezel RS and the HRV of that same year

Yes, usually anything over 36K miles on a 3 years lease will cost you $.25 pre mile.
