Not a huge increase. We bought a 2018 Pilot Touring and its MSRP was ~$45K. The Elite was maybe about $3K more. My wife loves this car. Gets around 28-31 MPG when we are mostly doing highway travel. In city maybe 24. We just replaced the factory Continentals (hated them in snow) and went with Falken Wildpeak in one size up 255/50-20. Great on Colorado hills and dirt (I do not intend to do off-roading!). 😀 I’d consider a new one but my wife loves it too much to trade. I kept our 2004 Pilot as my “truck”. Honda Pilot has a reputation of longevity and reliability as per consumers’ reports and professional car reviewers. Kia Telluride 2022-2022 models were demanded for recall by the federal agency for engine fire risk, which has been hand-in-hand with the Korean car brands (Hyundai as well).
Honda Pilot had a recall. Please stop trying to use "reliability" to saved your failing brand when they have too many problems with their transmission issues. Thank you fanbot.
Kia has not had any engine related fires on the Tellurides, the only recall they’ve had has been for the towing harness in some models and that has already been addressed. Honda’s reliability has been worst than Toyota/Kia and Hyundai for many years now, even more than some domestic brands.
I’d still take the Mazda CX-90 with its Turbo’d and hybridized inline 6 with 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque alongside its rear wheel based awd system by a long shot. Nicer interior, better fuel economy, better driving dynamics, and far classier exterior design that’ll age gracefully.

This does look pretty good though, and maybe a bit more space even than a Sienna ? But Im not sure if Id trust the Hybrid tech in this, over that of a the Toyota Sienna ?
Not a hybrid. Not yet anyway.
The fact that the Accord has a 12.3in touchscreen and this has a 9in is just weird to me. And I hope the MDX gets the same storage for the middle seat in the next refresh.
Good: 7/8 passengers conversion on Elite. Standard LED headlamps.
Bad: 9 inch center screen. (Accord gets 12.3) Ventilated 2nd row?
Ugly: Hybrid will be nice. 53K...
Now we know what the plate on the car is now.
All-new V6? All-new?
never thought that it would be a debate as to whether honda is better than kia
My 2014 brand new was 31k otd. What a world😂
Telluride looks better on the outside and inside.
over $50k is too much. I recently buy a 22 Nissan Pathfinder 3.5L V6 is more affordable with Great interior spaces.
Nice car. Surprised they didn’t get rid of that silly gear selector
Nice car but to much for me maybe cuz im 15😂
Go look for
Tricycles lol
@@Paul_dw_Kersey I could never ride on of those 😂
Lol I'm 18 and I'm thinking the same thing
Nice car.. but too expensive. This used to be a 35K to 42k car.
Its probably because its the highest trim Level, the LX is 37k
Welcome to inflation.
Everything are going up but your wage😂😂😂
Does elite trim comes with spare tire?
Class leading meaning larger than a grand Highlander?
Looks like old honda pilot.
Bro we just got a telluride
Ppl say these are over priced. Drive one….
CX90 is much more fun to drive and better looking. Less storage tho
I don't feel a lot of difference left between top trim models from non luxury brands and models from luxury brands.
@@fcg243 There are federal mandates of Kia/Hyundai recalls for engine fire risk, wtf??? You can simply Google it.
@@lane5686 Bro, stop trolling. F C is right. The telluride had recalls on their towing harness on some models. Just stop being a pathetic troll.
@@lane5686 Not on Telluride. Google it.
For that insane price, Hell No.
It’d better wear an Acura or Lexus badge for that kind of money.
Where did you shoot the video beautiful place?
We were in Sedona, Arizona 👍
is this better than Highlander max / Lexus TX ?
They couldn’t add projector led headlights at this price
No I wouldn't, for that price I can get Toyota Highlander.
What year is this pilot?
I’d still take the Mazda CX-90 with its Turbo’d and hybridized inline 6 with 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque alongside its rear wheel based awd system by a long shot. Nicer interior, better fuel economy, better driving dynamics, and far classier exterior design that’ll age gracefully.
Sorry for the rant, This is the 4th video of 4 different 3 row suvs i just saw from 4 different CZcamsrs and none of them sat in the 3rd row. Thanks i will just take your word that it will fit adults back there. I guess i will just go to a dealer and waste time first.
We suggest taking a look at our Full Review content where we definitely DO sit in the 3rd. This is just a 60 second Short so we are limited in what we can fit into that time
