  • The Johnson Jakande Tinubu (JJT) Park is one of the few go-to picnic spots on the Lagos Mainland, situated in the Alausa area (adjacent to the State House of Assembly). This recreational park is operated, maintained and financed for public consumption as a monument believed to celebrate three Lagos heroes.
It's free to all, spacious, green and gets a lot of breeze. There are big gazebos for groups; there are smaller sheds for couples who need a bit of privacy and there is a wide lawn for families who have come with their mats, duvets, etc.
It also boast of features such as free WiFi, the Eyo waterfall, the dry fountain, wheelchair accessibility, flags of all 54 African countries, dozens of Parrots, historical monuments, chess art, etc.
It is an awesome place with great ambience suitable for picnics, outdoor events, photo sessions, a great play space for kids.
