At rate i was going, prob would have been 20 years. I kept trying to find a slide move like that, but nothing worked, i knew I did something like that when pulling it apart but just couldn't do it and I think its cause mine is cheap novelty shop from friend back from vacation and locks up

Another person who thanks you for the solution. A friend gave me his puzzle a few years ago, and he could not remember what it was suppose to look like. I was cleaning out the drawer where I had put the pieces, and found your site with the solution. I Will return the completed puzzle to my friend at coffee tomorrow morning. It has a second false solutions where it is impossible to insert one piece. When seeing how you put the first piece I realized I was on the wrong path. Thanks for the hint!
