Yes, Riley Keough is Elvis's granddaughter. She wore one of his well-known guitar straps (or a perfect copy of it) in some scenes in this series. She also was host to Christmas at Graceland this last Christmas where many current singing stars entertained us from Graceland, honoring Elvis & Lisa Marie.
This show is worth watching. Riley Keough was not only Elvis's grandaughter, but also Michael Jackson's step daughter for a period of time and has some fun storys about living with Michael and bubbles the chimp.
Lisa Marie was really underrated. I love her songs "Over Me" and "You Ain't Seen Nothin Yet". She definitely had her own style. RIP.

Riley Keough is probably best known for her roles in The Runaways, The Good Doctor, Magic Mike and Mad Max: Fury Road. After Lisa Marie died, she became the sole owner of Elvis's home Graceland in Memphis, TN.
The series is great - the music, the chemistry, the 70s fashion. You’ll love it!
She's best known for acting but she is also a screenwriter and movie director. She co-wrote and co-directed a beautiful movie called 'War Pony'. I saw it in a movie theatre a couple of weeks ago and I was bawling my eyes out.
Riley just did a bit of singing again on the soundtrack to her new indie bigfoot movie Sasquatch Sunset, out this weekend. The song is called The Creatures of Nature. A search on here will turn it up. My favorite Daisy Jones song is Let me Down Easy. Kill you to Try is also a really well crafted song. Then there are a few where Riley is solo as Daisy Jones. See Riley in Under the Bridge, currently out on HULU. She plays the lead role alongside Lily Gladstone and she also co executive produced with her partner Gina Gammell through their production company Felix Culpa. They won the Camera de'Or at Cannes in 2022 for their movie War Pony.
this was a series on Prime, which was losely based on Fleetwood Mac. She got a golden globe Nomination for her lead performance. She can sing pretty good. She is an excellent actress. This whole soundtrack was excellent all the songs were good. She is currently staring in the Hulu Special "Under the Bridge". Thanks for this great reaction, you would love the Daisy Jones Limited Series if you have prime.
And she just got back from shooting a new Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig movie in London with George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Billy Crudup, Laura Dern. More shoots in NY. We'll probably see that in early 2025.

Riley is blowing up into her own star. She's done many films within the last decade. She's got another movie coming out called Sasquatch.

Sam Claflin, who was in one of my most favorite movies of all time, Me Before You. Oh my. Oddly, I watched this series, and I never connected it till now. How can that be?

Neither Sam Claflin nor Riley had ever performed musically before. They took singing lessons in order to do the series. You can hear hints of Lisa Marie's voice in Riley's. Daisy Jones and the 6 was a good series.

Riley Keough is Elvis granddaughter and Lisa Marie oldest child and her brother was Benjamin “Ben” Keough who they lost a few years back and yes Lisa Marie has the twin girls, Riley’s sisters.
This series Daisy Jones and the Six is loosely based on Fleetwood Mac.
Lisa had 3 daughters and 1 son. Riley Keogh is the oldest daughter's name. She's an actress in her early 30's. Cant see her well enough in this video, to see if this is her or not.
Check out Mad Max Fury Road. She's actually a good actor. You'll notice a resemblance to her Grandfather.
Her real name is Danielle Riley Keough and goes by Riley Keough. She was born in 1989. This was her first time doing any kind of singing. Her main thing is acting. This is a tv serious on Prime. It has one season so far.
Actually she eventually admitted that she had a little amateur band with the Dakota Johnson in the late 2000's but it was just for fun. See her on Jimmy Kimmel from this past Monday.

Story based on Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac 1970's). You should react to "Silver Springs" Stevie Nicks/Lindsey Buckingham, 1997, "The Dance" (that version is the best, plus their interaction on stage is classic). They were nominated for a Grammy, "Best Live Duo Performance" in 1997, for that song/performance.
Fun fact: Lisa Marie had a couple songs years ago also.

3 albums is more than a couple of songs 😊 she had some killer songs and wrote her own lyrics.
It was always going to be a huge task to follow an iconic father like Elvis in the same industry and I admit that I rolled my eyes when I heard that she was going to release a first album at age 35. Her song writing was quality and she outdid her father there who never wrote a song that I know of. Riley, on the other hand, was really reluctant to get into the singing game and pretty smart to carve out her own niche in acting.

I didn’t know she was related to Elvis when I watched it. TBH I am afraid that her connection to Elvis will hurt her acting career.
Jane H commenting ….. Yes, Elvis’ granddaughter, & she has two much younger sisters, the twins who I think are now around 15. Elvis also had a grandson, Benjamin Keough, who very sadly passed at the age of 27. There has been so much tragedy in his family, starting right at his birth, when his identical twin brother, Jesse, was stillborn after a long labour, & then Elvis’ beloved mother passed at the age of 46 of a heart attack, when Elvis was 22. He never got over losing her so unexpectedly. After Elvis’ passing at the age of 42, his father Vernon passed less than 2 years later of a cardiac arrest. So sad that 9 year old Lisa Marie lost her much loved father & then her grandfather at 11. And she passed last year of a cardiac arrest at 54 years old. I hope Riley has a successful career, a happy life, & reaches old age. It’s very sad that Elvis never got to see his little girl grow up & never knew his grandchildren.
