Hi Matt. Tks for the video. Is I am using a carbon and a next sand filter bottles to filter my well water. Doing my laundry, my clothes now feels 5 pounds heavier and the collar sags. Are there websites or videos I can refer to, to fix this issue please?

Hi Matthew my softener runs during the day sometimes even though I have it set to run at night... not sure how to stop this from happening mine is set to soften every other night at 3am

Is it running a regen during the day or you just see the word softening on the display? If you see the word softening then all that's telling you is there is running water in the house and the display is letting you know that you have a softener system and it's normal. If it's running regen during the day then you need to read the manual and verify the time: clackvalves.net/p/complete-service-amp-programming-manuals/ci-programming-manual/

27 lbs of salt per regeneration?? that is way too high.... should be about 12

Unless the softener is way undersized...

27 lbs of salt for a 1.5 cub softener is ridiculous. You should be regenerating at 36,000 using 12 lbs salt.

You're way off base dude 18 lb to 27 lb of water for regeneration on a cubic and a half water softener?? You have no idea what you're talking about you're completely lost your mind !!!! 9 lb - 11lbs maximum on any unit up to 2 cf!!; Where the hell did you get your schooling from? The funny farm??!
