I looked at the side effects of Letrozol and it said heart attack. What are the chances of that?

i was recently diagnosed with PCOS d/t irregular periods (38-50 day cycles) and i was given the option to choose clomid or letrozole. it was interesting to learn that letrozole is preferred for PCOC but now i am worried about the birth defects aspects. how common are the birth defects and do you have links to the studies u mentioned?
