The SMD definitely shined with contra, so many memorable moments in this game. Somehow that wiggly nose really fits Sheena
I never noticed before... but the resolution changes when the robot stops the train. If you're watching closely, the black bar on the left side of the screen pans further right. It expands back to its original position once the robot gets on the train. I wonder if there was a graphical reason they did it... like they had to... instead of just an artistic decision.
That doesn't happen with the default game. This is a mod/hack.

Why her weapons are so wimpy? Or it has something to do with difficulty settings?
This is a ROM hack of the original game. The weapons look like they suck because the enemies and the game itself were made to be more difficult than the original.
