A relatively recent acquisition by the BBC, this US-made series adapted a selection of classic episodes of Rod Serling's legendary fantasy/horror anthology series. In the esteemed Mr Serling's absence, narration is provided Stacy Keach.
MYSTERIOUS MAGPIE is a channel devoted to ghost and horror stories on British radio, and to dark tales of every kind.
I have another channel, MYSTICAL MAGPIE, which is all about stories of fantasy, mythology, and adventure: / @mysticalmagpie-wo5fn
If you're interested to learn about the century-long history of ghost and horror stories broadcast at Christmas on British television and radio, you might like to check out HOLLY WRAITHS (and its companion volume HOLLY TERRORS), an A-Z guide available in paperback and ebook from Amazon and Lulu.com.

He’s no Serling but Stacy Keach did well with these later productions.

It's very unsettling... and quite influential, with its idea of a hugely dangerous, powerful child. In particular the film 'Looper' seems to borrow heavily from it...

I’m grateful for these productions. Radio is a lost art. But without being malicious : These productions are stilted. The wall to wall music is annoying and counter productive. And the acting is so silly and labored.
Again I’m sorry to have to say this as I’m a huge fan of radio and spoken word but these fall short
