WOW, Hook Emma turned Hook into a Dark One!!!😮😮
She should have put all the darkness is Arthur then killed him. He's the reason they're in this position in the first place.
+umbrastar One cannot blame another for a mistake they themselves made. Emma made her bed, now she needs to sleep in it.
+chocolateyes613 That's bullshit. Arthur was the one and only reason Killian was cut and thus the only reason there was any troubleshooting in the entire procedure of destroying the darkness in Emma. I'm agreeing 1000% with Umbrastar on this one.

i understand why she did it. All the men she loved died on her then if she let hook die then she probably would never date because she would be afraid of losing them like the other men that was in her life so i see where she coming from
She had only just accepted her future with him aswell! I don't think she was in the wrong at all, she loved him she needed him and they could manage the darkness together! I also don't think that he means that about their future, I'm hoping that he is just playing along for zelena because literally 2 seconds ago he told her that he didn't care what she had done !

His reaction was so uncalled for! I need an explanation! He seemed angry that she FREAKING SAVED HIS LIFE. That is NOT how the Killian Jones I know would react.

Hook's reaction is completely understandable and justified. Emma betrayed him in the worst possible way. He was at peace, and content with dying. Yet, she ignored his last wishes, out of pure selfishness. Emma may have saved Hook's life, but in doing so, she turned him into the thing he hated most…. the Dark One.
+chocolateyes613 I've seen many people with your point of view on it, but I personally don't agree with it. I don't believe that Killian would truly rather die than be one the dark one. I think the reason he was so angry at Emma was because the darkness in him was preventing him from thinking straight. He has always had so much faith in Emma, and I don't see why he would suddenly stop believing in her. Why he wouldn't have faith that she could help him overcome the darkness. Killian has always had faith in their love, and it seemed way out of character for him to get mad at her.
Even if it is true that he would have rather died than become the dark one, I still think he should have life compassion towards her. He has always understood Emma no matter what. She may have done it out of selfish intent, but he should be able to understand that. Even he himself said earlier in the episode how many selfish things he has done in his past and how he will forgive her for whatever she has done.
+chocolateyes613 I completely respect your point of view, it's just that I have a different opinion on it. I think there's something missing, something we haven't learned yet that will explain it all.
+Emma Swan but he said it himself he wanted for her to have a good future not to embrace the darkness for him making him a dark one too, there are fates worst than death and for hook becoming the dark one is one of them so if that is for him and Emma the one he loves the most isn't that enough betrayal, loosing both himself and his love to the darkness, that has to be worse than death right
+Emma Swan Dark Ones are not possessed, as we learned in 5.07. Their negative qualities, and personality traits are just heightened.
Hook was willing to give Emma a second chance, only to learn that she manipulated him (and everyone else) the entire time. He put faith in her future, and she threw it away. She gave into hopelessness and weakness, and condemned him to a hate worse than death. With a betrayal like that, it would be much scarier if Hook was not angry. He has always called out Emma, on her bad behavior.
I think Killian can learn to get passed all this in due time. His anger isn't uncalled for. Emma literally hurt him in the worst possible way. She disregarded telling him the truth, and he probably feels like she can't trust him. I imagine he wouldn't have cared if it was something else (depending I guess on the extent but to his knowledge everyone that she cares for is alive and well) because he knows what it likes to fall into the darkness. But the fact that it involved him the whole time and he has no idea, he must have felt like an idiot. Plus learning that he just wanted to die in peace and have Emma get rid of her darkness was his last wishes. But no, she lost herself due to saving him. Like to have all that responsibility must feel overwhelming. She was selfish (love can be selfish so I am not criticizing her for it) in tethering him to the sword and essentially creating another dark one; the entity that he despised and tried to destroy for over 300 years. Hook isn't new to the whole dark nature, and it seems every day he fights to be the right man for Emma, and live up to what his brother wanted for him. Throw in darkness at his direction, he'll more likely fall in it quicker than Emma. (Reminds me of Stefan Salvatore from Vampire Diaries). So right now Killian doesn't know how to handle all this. All he knows is that he feels betrayed (Emma saving him so that he doesn't know the truth and basically playing with his emotions) and very hurt. Darkness feeds into those negative emotions, so he's unbalanced. Whether or not he's playing Zelena is beyond me.
Just wanted to say I can understand why Emma did what she did. She lost too many people in her life, and she just had to suck it up because it was not within her control. For once, she knows there is an alternative and she's taking it for their future. And Emma is barely selfish to begin with. Regina begged her to save Robin as he was dying, why couldn't Emma have the same? Why did Regina and her parents not give her enough support? They knew they would lose her, but I imagine her losing Killian would have had the same outcome. (He was the only one who made a huge effort to save her.) So yeah I think they were hypocrites really. I imagine Emma was like "You know what life? I let you screw me over many times in life, and for once I'm putting my foot down and saying no." And sure him becoming a dark one could pose as a threat, but she was willing to pay the price. And when so much is happening, you can't think clearly on what's right or wrong. She wants to fix it, and I believe her when she says that. I don't know how to feel about her not telling Hook the truth, but that's her decision ultimately.
Well that's the freakin twist of the century right there. So either Hook is playing Zelena, or Zelena is having him being corrupted by the darkness, a little too quickly if I might ask. I don't know, Hook turning on Emma THIS quickly seems fishy. He loves Emma more than anything why turn on her this fast and this harshly? This whole thing is fishy. Oh well guess we're gonna have to wait two weeks.
There's a thin line between love and hatred and the idea of Emma's betrayal made hook cross that line

he had a long life and he would have been content dying in her arms knowing she had the means to save herself from the darkness. and he knew he wouldn`t be able to fight off darkness, he`s been on that road, and that he will do horrible things . and the last thing she did`nt respect his wishes out of pure selfishness and weakness.
+WCRfan126 Emma played him...I think that is why he reacted the way he did. This whole time once they came back from Camelot, he knew something was up with her. Aside from the fact that she is now the Dark Swan, he knew something fishy was going on with her behavior & actions. She has been lying to him & misguiding him the whole time with her personal agenda. Maybe she didn't directly lie to him, but she withheld information from him, by intentionally erasing everybody's memories. I think Emma knew he would not receive this revelation well which is why she went to all this trouble of trying to butter him up, parading around in that white dress on their first date & luring him to the house he picked out for them for "their future" together. I personally think he has mixed emotions, his reaction is justified because he thought he knew her well, emotionally investing in their relationship to only to end up feeling betrayed & used. He has every right to feel hurt.

how could he be so mad at her? She saved his life and it was a quick fix. It wasn't the solution.
He didn't want to be the Dark One. He was OK with dying.

Even though I Love CaptainSwan, it still amazes me on how Hook and everyone managed to forgive Emma after what she did. Seriously what she did was downright unforgivable.
