    For anyone who stumbles across this video I thought i would share my experience with this bike.
    I own a 2014 tnt600 in Australia and find the same issues with the low end power.
    Rev band doesn’t open up until about 6k rpm and makes the bike feel sluggish and super low on torque. I have ordered a 50T rear sprocket (+4T) which should bring the mid range to life.
    This is my first bike and i got use to the power in about 2 weeks and instantly started looking for power mods especially for low end torque.
    The absolute best thing i have done so far is a R6 throttle tube conversion to make the throttle 1/4 twist instead of the 90° which was TERRIBLE and almost impossible to twist fully.
    Being from China it definitely does have a cheaper feel compare to your bigger brand bikes. Things like the gear shifter have a lot of free play and doesn’t feel the best. That being said it is cheaper and a lot of bike for the price.
    Generally performance parts and even aftermarket exterior mods are very hard to look for. Malaysia seems to have a lot of parts however communication and shipping is the biggest issue.
    It you run into any issues or you want to do any mods its very difficult as there is barely any forums or online information about the bike. There is barely any people that have done different things so you sort of have to wing it and guess on your own.
    Overall as a first bike and if you can pick one up for cheap they are worth it. If the price is comparable to something of similar size but a better brand i would be going with the better brand. The biggest struggle has been lack of information and lack or an aftermarket market.
    Thanks guys!

    I see you no longer own this bike, but there is a tune for this bike that helps a bit with that sluggish feeling.

    What's the MPG at free way touring speeds? 75 MPH and so on. I wonder what the touring range is with a 4 gallon tank?

    I’m looking at either this (but with ABS) or a 2009 Ducati 696m. They’re about the same price and I was wondering if you had any thoughts on which might be a better choice. I was pretty sold on the Benelli especially with ABS but I don’t tend to run through the RPM range all that often so you talking about the lack of low rev power worries me a bit. There’s also a VZ-07 for a bit more that’s an option. Thoughts?

      Idk if I would buy an older ducati to be honest. The maintenance cost alone would be worth the sacrifice of a less powerful bottom end. The Monster also has a vtwin so the Benelli is bound to lose in the torque category but it will pull harder up top.

      this trumps both. 4 cylinder smooth power, yes its low on torque but top speed is abnormal for its class

    Is this okay for short riders? I am 173cm tall :)

      You should be fine I guess. I'm around 160cm tall and I rode this bike several times in the past since my dad own this bike. However, the front fork is lowered a bit and still can't have both of my legs flat when sitting on this bike. I can only do 1 leg flat and the other on the footrest. But it's okay since I can still make contact with the ground using both of my legs just not flat footed.

    Aight you seem to be pretty active still so I’ll shoot my shot.
    My commute is only 10 minutes on the highway or 15 on side roads all residential.
    Am I better off going for the 302s or the tnt300 given the added mpg, or will the 600 do the job?

      What's your goal. Do you simply only want to commute? Is gas mileage important or fun factor?

    • @Jay-ehn
      @Jay-ehn Před 3 lety

      My goal is to use my bike in the summer for all commuting when I can - and I’m not too picky about power, just something enough to be manageable.
      With a 30in inseam, and haven’t ridden since I was a kid on an mx, these newer bikes are kind of intimidating lmao.

      Leoncino 500. I have the trail variant. Enough power for the road, pretty punchy low end torque for an “A2” level bike

    Do you still own Benelli? I’m thinking to buy one, already did a test ride, it’s ok, but then I saw a couple of videos and the guys were talking about fuel leak over the engine when you fill up the tank.... did you have that issue?

    • @MotoMedicine904
      @MotoMedicine904  Před 3 lety +1

      No I don't have it anymore. The fuel leaking over the engine only happens if you overfill the tank. You're not supposed to fill it over the inner ring inside the fuel tank. Most bikes have a rubber hose that runs the overflow down to the ground but I'm guessing Benelli either didn't have space for it or forgot to put the hose on them.

      @@MotoMedicine904 so after all do you think it’s worth buying that thing? There are two of those in offer, I think you know where😂

    • @MotoMedicine904
      @MotoMedicine904  Před 3 lety +1

      For the money I'd say they're a great deal. It's not hard to just not overfill the tank. It's actually designed where if you stick the gas pump in there and then let it run til it clicks..its full. Jus don't try to fill up the neck of the tank and you'll be fine. Otherwise for as cheap as they're being let go for they're not a bad deal.
