". . .her philtrum. . ." almost spit my drink chuckling. Not sure why, but hearing "philtrum" spoken so casually was funny to me. My favorite nonsensical anatomic term is the one for the depression below the lower lip: the mentolabial sulcus. It just sounds so serious for something so innocuous.
This is amazing! In a year we'll have to learn 3D modelling in college and this is the inspiration I needed to start learning blender!

emulate 3 button mouse is mostly the only thing i do for the tablet, what are you looking for in terms of efficiency?

hello love your videos they're really helpful but just wondering how do you sculpt so that the mesh is even and smooth? i can't make mine like that it's lumpy and square like?
you need to use the remesh button and select a small size say .005. then use the smooth brush or press SHIFT and use your brush to smooth everything out.
how do you have that rig already in like a skeleton form? is that a setting or preference? would save me great amount of time
how did you make your pointer to work on the same side symertrically?

Hi, when you sculpt on Blender, you don't need to retopo the objects you make to paint them? I see a lot of videos going straight from sculpting to painting and I want to know how to do that, if you'd be so kind to explain it to me, please.
Sculpt mode has a paint brush, it paints the vertices.

You sure make this look easy. About how many polys was the head while you were working on it?
I really don't pay attention to poly count, just keep it low and increase when you really need to.

Being good at art takes years of practice, it is a beautiful skill that needs to be earned. Courses help you get there, but you have to be patient and consistent with you practicing to improve. I feel like you might have an unrealistic expectation (to be expected when you are new to something). Hope that answers your question!

@YanSculpts followed one of your older tutorials where you went over efficiency, keyboard for left hand, pen in your right. Blenders hotkeys tend to favor the left hand. Right now I'm trying to decide which is harder, relearning/remapping hotkeys for right hand or learning to use pen in left.

i can model any geometric shapes but when i'm trying to sculpt a head the result always looks like a monkey or an alien 😞

I am very passionate, the amount of videos on youtube doesn't = to my passion. These videos take a lot of time to finish, the video editing itself is a few days work at-least for something like this.
Also, I've been creating a lot of content lately, you should follow my other platforms, I don't only manage my CZcams channel. Launching Patreon's page itself took a huge amount of work, it also includes a crash course that I had to do, not to mention the monthly tutorial, creating and managing the discord, etc. I also offer monthly content on Patreon, so that is monthly work I have to do.
In addition to that I recently released the 3d modeling course which took a huge amount of time to do, and I released a few youtube videos this year already?
Sorry if it seems like I am not working but I am working pretty much 7/7 :) Hopefully I will be able to release more videos when it is possible, but I still have a lot of things to prepare for so 1 video is the minimum I am aiming for!
Don't forget I am working by meself, I don't have a team.

It looks better than the ingame designs of League of Legends. I think you should apply for a job as game designer for riot. I think there not that good at bringing the designs into the game
They have some limitations and design choices to follow, they have artists capable of doing crazy stuff
@@yansculpts Ahh, ok. I didn't want to judge the artists. I think they can make beautiful art. But I think riot should allow the artists to put in more detail. Of cause not to much. Otherwise the game would explode because of the many polygons or skins. But compared to other games it look undetailed. At the series Arcane we saw how beautiful this universe could look like.
