The woman crying is married to the guy getting married to the other lady and they're in love but she's dying so she (and his father) are making him marry this other lady so that he isn't without a wife. Neither of them wanna get married to each other but he agreed since it's his wife's dying wish. This movie has a stellar cast, impressive sets, stunning cinematography and visuals and amazing music but the story is eye blindingly awful so please don't even bother watching it. Just react to the music videos because they are simply brilliant.

You’re not weird for loving that part. That’s something I love about Indian music as well and there are lots of amazing songs that incorporate this sound. Literally every song in this movie is nice to watch and listen to: visually and aurally (lol at that word) I also think kajal (eyeliner) looks great on men and I think it’s actually a cultural tradition in several cultures. I don’t know much more about it but I know it’s cultural and definitely accentuates a man’s eyes and is attractive. Can you react to more songs from this film and the trailer? Make sure you find the full version: some other good ones include: Ghar More Pardesiya, Tabah Ho Gaye (full song), Kalank Title Track, Aira Gaira. Looking forward to it!

So that woman in saree is the wife of the groom...she is terminal so her dying wish is to see her husband move on and get married to someone..the bride is Alia Bhatt and she's getting married to that guy against her and his wish. The guy dancing is Varun Dhawan and later in the film Alia falls for him.. towards the end Madhuri Dixit enters who is Varun's mother but they have a strained relationship.

Loved the way you fell in love with this song. Most of the people hated this movie but persobally I loved it. Fantastic acting, good cast,mindblowing sets, nice storyline and as you just saw extraordinary dance sequences. Definetely worth a watch if not two.

This movie has some of the best sets I've seen in Indian cinema, really good cinematography, stunning visuals and music. But the story is what let's it down so wouldn't recommend that you watch the movie.
But I would highly recommend that you watch Ghar More Pardesiya- the full video for the stunning visuals and the story telling, you might enjoy that.

I think the different colours of the houses or room is sort of to signify what they are- for example, red mostly is for brothels etc but when you saw the two people getting married, there was a lot of stone and marble, hinting at their wealth. Great video, btw.

The small raag part of the song you became obsessed with isn’t even on the soundtrack version of the song lol! It was modified in the movie to fit the narrative. It would have been nice though if they’d released a film version of the song.
