I was a deck hand on a fishing boat that gave Timothy Treadwell a ride to the bear camp a few months before he was killed. I predicted that he would end up as a statistic.
Really? I knew him, and guided where he was, still so. Only 2 folks to ever get killed or even hurt by a bear in that region in history. The statistic is you more likely to be hit by a meteor. So what was he like?

No I camp a lot out there guiding film crews, but not at that camping spot. Tim certainly had some psychological problems. I tried to tell him he was pushing the limits. He was on a mission. He also made a lot of mistakes
@@bradjosephs His narcissism kept him from listening to others. His ultimate mistake was camping at a bear trail intersection with his girlfriend who was undoubtedly menstruating.
No the menstruation really doesn’t make a difference. It was because he had no electric fence, no deterrent like spray or flare, and he had his bear proof food container right next to his tent. It was October and as the food runs out for the season, old or skinny bears get desperate for calories and are much more aggressive
At the end they seem to say, “ummm why are we doing this again?”f😂
