can the soil in the containers be reused to grow potatoes again? I am just digging up my potatoes, but would want to grow them again in the fall. Can I use the same soil or would it better to not reuse?

Hey great question! If you do, I highly recommend adding some high nutrient compost or fish fertilizer or some other kind of way of adding nutrients back into the soil since the potatoes will have taken many of them out. You certainly can use the same soil... it does put yu at a higher risk of diseases like blight, but you'd likely be just fine. Just as a general rule, the longer that the same vegetable plants are in the same location the more likely pests and diseases are going to figure out theres a food source there
