We are currently staying in Sidari, on the North of Corfu Island. We have been so excited to hike the Corfu Trail, after hearing it is one of Europes most stunning long distance trails.
If you are looking for things to do Corfu, and enjoy breathtaking scenery and adventure, we highly recommended Hiking Corfu! We only have time to do the North half of the trail, so we are starting in Palaiokastritsa and we will end at Agios Spyridonas beach where the trail officially ends.
In this episode we cover two sections, and finish in Rekini… stay tuned for the next two trail episodes! We are not wild camping in Corfu, as we didn’t have the room to bring all our camping equipment over this time, but there are plenty of wild camping spots along the trail if you were interested in doing it this way!
We love long distance hiking and have just booked our train tickets to wild camp the east highland way in Scotland when we get back to the UK in August! Don’t forget to check out our channel for more hiking and wild camping vlogs.
The Corfu trail is certainly one of the Corfu Highlights, and makes a nice change from indulging in the Corfu nightlife, it’s wonderful to see authentic rural Greece and it’s gorgeous coastal and mountain sections

The next sections will be out in the next videos… if we end up having time we will do the southern half too but the north was our priority as we have the mountains coming up and the prettiest areas 🤗 wish I wasn’t working tbh so I could have just took a tent and done the whole thing! What a gorgeous path after the road walking and as you climbed up what a stunning view it was to see the blue sea, not keen on the snake mind😳. Well deserved Fanta and I loved those small Greek villages and good to see that is not only me that goes off-piste and gets lost but better to see you made it down in one piece, scratches apart. The beach at Agios Georgios Beach was stunning but I would have got stuck in that hole in the rock with the size of my bum😟 but the view of the double bay was breath-taking. Nice to get out with friends, despite the relentless climbing but what a bonus with the view and then a downhill to the pub through the wildflowers. What a place to stop for lunch, shame it was 'for your eyes only', as we would have loved a stop there too. Take care, cheers Alan

@Drunk On Wanderlust haha everything is going to be a piece of cake after the Amazon. A new business? That sounds exciting, what are you up to?. I have been really busy this summer but not with outdoor adventures. I have swapped careers, I have left hospitality to be a civil servant so lots of training. my brother has also been visiting from Australia. I need a nice relaxing camp somewhere 🤣. A few strays yes, only one we considered dangerous
