  • How to add trees to your lot and have it look like a forest, not like someone spammed trees and called it a day (I know we've all been there). Debug is used a lot in this video, but you can do the same thing with elements from the traditional menu! Make sure you have your plants and features 1) make sense with the world 2) have enough space between to make sense for gameplay and 3) follow a general tallest-to-shortest lineup towards the sun. Let me know what you think I missed, and would you like a slowed down waterfall tutorial?

This was so much fun! I loved your forest reference chart. Super helpful. I’m psyched to create forests combined with some activity objects for a great hangout spot. Could go so many ways. One thing about Debug - if you like playing with eco lifestyle environment effects on, debug trees, plants, and flowers don’t have any “Green Points” or improve the environment. I like to plop some “real” items amidst the debug for this reason. Be well, Sahm! And if you can’t be well, be distracted by something pleasant 💜

I'm really curious about your background because there's so much to learn from you. It's like I'm taking a mix of history and architecture course 😊

Most def saving this for later! I’m doing a willow creek save and I want houses to look realstic so trees are prime

I love the magical upgrade to the forest! One of my favorite things to add is the mushroom chair from Cottage Living. Scales up and down, comes in fun and natural swatches, and your sim, of course, could sit and enjoy the scenery ❤

Thank you, this will be super useful for me as my latest build idea is to try my best to build a Norse/Viking house, and I’d like the lot to look pretty wild (mainly because I like forests). Here in Sweden, forests are mainly conifers with the occasional leafy tree here and there. So I guess a bit like Granite Falls + Windenburg visually.

These are such good tips! I never think of filtering debug and that’s incredibly foolish of me 😅 and that waterfall was beautiful
