If either player breathes, players immediately lose the game
I think this was on one of your "most anticipated" lists and I've been looking forward to it since I heard limited communication two-player-only co-op. Limited communication co-ops are my jam, but we don't have many gamer friends to play with, which limits our options.
This tutorial looks ABSOLUTELY awesome and I know what I'm asking my husband for for Christmas. 😁
We love keeping 2 player only games in our nightstand to play after the kids are in bed. This will be a great addition.

This really looks interesting and simple; the dashboard looks pretty, and *look* a player shield that does not tilt.

Is there any particular order of operations to when the dice are activated. We have been playing all of our die then working them from the sides first, turning our axis second and finish with our engines. Is this right or is it that once something is played it’s actioned ?
Do we always need to use all four dices at the end of every round? Because we had already all green lights switched on after the 5th round. So in round 6 and 7 it seemed we had to much dices left. Thanks for help ❤

For clarification: you resolve each section IMMEDIATELY after the die is placed, right? (Respectively immediately after the SECOND die is placed, for tilt and engines.)
Or do the engines resolve at the end of the round?
Because flaps/breaks and engines depend on each other - and can screw up stuff
(and you immediately lose the game…..)

how come in this tutorial, on minute 10:08 Monique shows all four dice fo the pilot having already been assigned, and in the brakes panel, boxes 2 and 4 have already been switched to green, yet there are no dice in them? there is only a no. 6 die assigned on the last box... I thought you could only assign dice to the breaks ONCE , on the last round, on es both the airport icon and airplane icons are in their respective current position screens... on Monique's example, when did she assign the dice to the brakes 2 and 4?

Yes, the round ends once all of the dice have been placed.

I prefer to play this game on BGA as your copilot can’t change his dice 🎲 without you knowing
Playing with all the modules in the most dificult airports, might be harder than landing an actual plane... 😅😅

Dang, there seems to be quite a bit of game here.
Lots to explore, especially with more scenarios available via the publisher's website
Can someone help me keep in theme with the no talking/discussion part? That's the only thing that kinda turned me off when pilot and copilot aren't allowed to talk..
Like in cockpit pilot and copilot discuss about the way to follow. That's Strategy discussions. And after that, in few seconds they act, pull the axis, call the ground control, move the flaps, and so on.
That's alsowhy you will find in some scenarios the "real time" module.
Be sure by playing you'll feel in the cockpit.

If players communicate it becomes an alpha player solo game.

Yes, at the end of the day it's still a board game so it would not be challenging enough if they were able to communicate. You can strategize verbally during the planning phase though.

This looks cool but thematically doesn't make sense. Yes, the pilot and co-pilot need to work together but I don't get why they can't talk to each other. That part doesn't make sense when landing a plane together.
You can speak. You have to share strategy. And then you play.
You can check Rahdo play time to give you an idea.
I had your same reservations about theme, but in another video someone with flight experience commented how pilot and co-pilot don't actually tell each other what to do during a landing, they just verbalize out loud what they're doing, which would equal to the players announcing where they're placing the dice. There wouldn't be time for one or the other to say, "No, actually, put it there instead", it wouldn't make any sense in reality. Allegedly, the game designers had inputs from actual pilots.
This was my top most anticipated game but not being able to speak takes the fun out for me and my partner...
Hi there, just to clarify, you are allowed to speak and strategize in the "planning phase" (before the dice are rolled).

@@doggyaugie We're similar my hubby and we but never found a 'silent' coop game lost its value because we talked frankly (unless it's something like the Mind lol)! As long as you don't say which dice value you are going to assign, you can still chat away at whatever else. We make our own commentary of our plays that way with 'ohh' and 'ahh, what the heck'. To make up for talking you could use the timer option maybe or turn on all the modules you can.

@@doggyaugiea full game isabout 15/ 20 min. But it depends on the player's speed. There is a learning curve and you will acquise reflexes and play faster and faster.
