I surprised Warhol can actually talk normally like have a normal conversation with people .. I thought he usually just give one-word answers and replies ..
Wow, Spielberg met Andy Warhol? LUUUCCCKKKYYYY!!! Why does it seem like all the legends back in the day all died way too young? Yet, Spielberg's still alive. 0.0 Myyysstterryyy!!
+Blond Thought Yeah that's probably why he got much quieter... you can't let people esp these days know you're that eccentric - have a dry sense of humor or anything lest you be crushed by late night "comedy" shows...
@dundee12 From OpenCulture: In 1979, Andy Warhol spent $40,000 on a broadcast-quality camera and started dabbling in creating television programs that he aired on Manhattan public access cable channels. One episode featured Warhol, Bianca Jagger and Steven Spielberg simply hanging out on a bed.
I have an art exhibition opening today at Rancho Linda Vista in Oracle Arizona going all weekend long.. up all month long. They interviewed me on KVOA in Tucson, that was interesting.
@ cremany - If anyone were to ask me, I'd say Andy was he freak here - not Steven! LOL. At least Steven is making an effort. Andy is his usual cardboard self and Bianca looks like she's high (though I'm sure she actually isn't)!
I love the fact that Warhol attempts nothing more than the fanning of a "dead" fire in posing what what he is assuming is a question with no answer (such a fucking nihilist), and gradually coming to realize that his cynicism, so much his trademark, could be expressed through a disembodied voice. Spielberg is right there with him, neutralizing his bored yawps.
I would be nice if people dropped the stupid bickering and talked solely about the video. What is the context of this interview? Why are these three in a room together?
@suddenlyitsobvious You can call me whatever you like, friend. And yo can say anything you want, just realize everything which you're criticizing is already happened, it's not like any of us really have strong voices anyway, man.
@suddenlyitsobvious I love how you just wrote yourself a little rant surrounding some random sociological concept that just makes you look really pretentious. Yes, I don't think anyone really knows for certain the reason Warhol's seen as a demigod, but there's really just no use in criticizing it, because it's definitely not going to change anytime soon. Not that my response to your comment's really significant either, and you could call me something of a hypocrite if you like.
@suddenlyitsobvious Also (being a hypocrite again for responding to you so many times), I had interpreted your original statement as one asking why Warhol actually was famous, but apparently it's not as you imply.
@suddenlyitsobvious "Undoubtedly" - how do you know for sure I know what you're talking about or not? I could just be saying random shit that makes no sense (which you'll probably agree with). And who knows? I might just be really paranoid!
@MrFfuckUp Actually wait, by doing this I'm even more of a hypocrite/airhead. It's fun to get into to random arguments on CZcams that really have no purpose; it finally gives me something to do! Anyway, you can go ahead and argue to your heart's content and what not. You'd just seem like the perfect person to argue with here, I mean I know the argument you've put up so far, but if you really wanted to upset me, you could've just not responded at all! Sorry for the long comment, I talk too much!
Wow Spielberg hogs the whole conversation, its littered with personal pronouns and endless uninteresting chatter about his own boring memories. How do you sit in front of someone as interesting as Warhol and talk about idiotic things you did as a brainless kid as if they were historical events?
Such a weird conversation. Spielberg is great!
It's bad when Andy and Bianca are looking at Steven like WTF?
I surprised Warhol can actually talk normally like have a normal conversation with people .. I thought he usually just give one-word answers and replies ..
It's just a facade he put on; it was part of his persona.
uuduu7 he was a "normal" man i think his "short speech" was part of his personality with journalists.
Wait why are we pretending this was a normal conversation?
R.I.P. Andy Warhol :'(
Wow! What an incredible interview!
Spielberg is wonderful I love to hear these little details about how he thinks.
Wow, Spielberg met Andy Warhol? LUUUCCCKKKYYYY!!! Why does it seem like all the legends back in the day all died way too young? Yet, Spielberg's still alive. 0.0 Myyysstterryyy!!
Is this where the idea for Poltergeist was born? What he was saying about ghosts in the television sounded awfully familiar.
LOL 🤣
Must have been a bummer for Spielberg when analogue TV was replaced by digital.... no more ghosting, multipath, or noise!
I never knew Spielberg was so weird.
+Blond Thought Yeah that's probably why he got much quieter... you can't let people esp these days know you're that eccentric - have a dry sense of humor or anything lest you be crushed by late night "comedy" shows...
Am I missing something? he seems fine to me
Most geniuses are far out. Spielberg is absolutely a creative genius.
@@scottmasson3039
Agree !
I LOVE THIS!
Classic. Poltergeists and ET were 1982...a few years after this interview.
I like these two being in the same room, but damn it's weird.
Why was it weird according to you ?
Clearly not a serious conversation. They all seem high.
Benny Forthwith what’s not so serious about a high convo?
that’s when people have the best conversions tho
"That's where the word ghost almost came from!!"
8 people don't love static tv.
maybe swallowing the transistor is why he was hearing radio? lmaooo good footage....
LOL true!
artsy conversations.

Back when Steve could still somewhat handle cocaine.
🤣
@ciucinciu Nah...He died after he fell asleep and the nurse at the hospital noticed he wasn't breathing, so he died while unconscious.
Stephen on crank
Stevens stoned
@moeskido Thanks for putting this video into a historical perspective.
Spielberg was for sue doing a few rails... But thats okay probably gave him some crazy good movie ideas lol
Never ever take an interview seriously from a king sized bed….unless your John and Yoko.
The fact people take themselves seriously enough to argue with replica nobody on this site is a protest of self worthlessness
I am a fan of Andy Warhol but I know that with Valerie Solanas he behaved badly. That's why I wrote the song "That girl", on my channel.
I have an art exhibition opening today at Rancho Linda Vista in Oracle Arizona going all weekend long.. up all month long. They interviewed me on KVOA in Tucson, that was interesting.
Also, I might or might not understand society...obviously you must!!
Steven Spielberg said to this day i convinced it was- and then he stopped
What was he convinced of? That it was him, maybe Jesus?
ella es de nicaragua jejejejejej yo tambien :D!!!jejejej!
hahhaa bianca jagger listening
Ben Bedel That's "listening".
@MrFfuckUp (I completely take back this, as even though I'm getting "worked up" I'm still responding more and more)
@suddenlyitsobvious Also, I love how you're starting to get worked up by my little comment by responding to me more and more and more
Where can I find the whole interview, please?
he is very high
mayeb hes not on coke, i am like that, speak fast and all, and i've never done coke
he has add by teh way
yes.. haha
@ cremany - If anyone were to ask me, I'd say Andy was he freak here - not Steven! LOL. At least Steven is making an effort. Andy is his usual cardboard self and Bianca looks like she's high (though I'm sure she actually isn't)!
WHEN did this happen ?
I love the fact that Warhol attempts nothing more than the fanning of a "dead" fire in posing what what he is assuming is a question with no answer (such a fucking nihilist), and gradually coming to realize that his cynicism, so much his trademark, could be expressed through a disembodied voice. Stop writing crap
@suddenlyitsobvious Damn, everyone on this video's gonna get pissed off by our bickering!!
I would be nice if people dropped the stupid bickering and talked solely about the video.

@suddenlyitsobvious Ha...nope, been off them there anti-depressants for months!

@Stiffmaster96 Ahm, no...
@BlueOceanBelow bahahaha me too
god knows how uch i hate spielberg hes more of an storry teller than a film maker in my idea but andy is just awesome
armin beh
I’d say he’s more of a film maker than a storyteller
@MrFfuckUp Actually wait, by doing this I'm even more of a hypocrite/airhead. It's fun to get into to random arguments on CZcams that really have no purpose; it finally gives me something to do! TheRightToBeBold
Warhol usually talks as little as possible.
It's an interview
I don't believe Spielberg is sincere here at all.
Warhol has no charisma or captivating aura and his work is very void with soul. BASQUIAT saved Warhol's commercial work.
milove4art 2018 because he had autism
Pretentious boring waffle
