I think I've found the best dupe for Maison Francis Kurkdijan's Baccarat Rouge 540
Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge, 2oz EDP (Men)
This dupe hands down the closest I've come to smell like BK540

That is the most spot-on description of BR540 I have heard. It’s not beautiful but it’s addictive. And you are right, it’s not necessarily something people would spend $350 for.

Another good dupe is Swiss Arabian's Gharaam. Had a sample of it and it smells like 540 to a T. Am planning on getting that one this fall.
Really good. Almost as good as the original one.

@@ploveee9859 Zara has a very good dupe called Red Temptation for only $25 that smells just like it but doesn't last near as long as the Swiss Arabian Ghraam and Al Haramain Amber oud Rouge. But u can try it out for cheaper from Zara if you like!

His nickname is Whiz and he has been in Business for almost 30 years. Once I retired 8 years ago I started selling oils.

I must try Rouge thank you. I also like Burberry HER. It is very close to 540. Mr Khardijan created Burbery HER for Burberry
I have BR540 and my daughter has the Burberry her. I find the Initial spray is similar, but the dry down is not the same at all. Burberry her is very berry/floral.

Al haramain amber oud rouge is identical to 540 . It's stunning . I bought 540 and I returned it because it's not worth the money. I am the one that I suggested her to buy Al haramain . I have it and adore it.

I noticed the Al Haramain bottle is similar to the 540 Extrait version (both red). Is Al Haramin a dupe for the regular 540 or the 540 Extrait version?

How is the projection and sillage?
Aly - If the bottle had same Color as the EDP 540 then it would look misleading, because there is already amber oud which had the see through bottle. My guess is that it is just a clone of the BR540 dna.
In early 2020 Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge was added to the already impressive array. The fragrance is complex and sweet, allowing it to blend in in a variety of settings. It opens with distinctive top notes of saffron and a touch of floral accents. The middle is a sweet and salty combo thanks to rich amber wood and a touch of ambergris. The base exudes the warm scent of agarwood along with a few specially-chosen woodsy scents including fir and cedar. This fragrance is easy to enjoy anytime, but is especially suited to adding spice and warmth to cool evenings.
Hey Mandie, I finally got my hands on the fragrance.I can't remember if you have Rihanna's nude perfume or not..... but, I layered those two together today and it was Heaven 💓! Try it out and let me know what you think.

Orientica Amber Rouge by Al Haramain is BR540 edp and Amber Oud Rouge by Al Haramain is BR540 extrait dupe. I also have Ana al Abiyedh Rouge by Lattafa which is the BR540 edp dupe. I love this scent so much but I initially didn’t like it because it smelled synthetic and medicinal at first but the smell just kept getting better like you’re in a cloud. It’s a love for me that’s why I have 2 dupes in my collection. I hope I never run out of it.
Amber Oud Ruby by Al Haramain is a dupe of BR540 Extrait. Amber Oud Rouge is the dupe of the EDP.
You described it perfect. I agree with you it’s not sexy but it is pleasing. I love my 540 but definitely not sexy to my husband either
I personally like the 540 Extrait version better. Alexandria Fragrances has Interplay Extrait dupe that smells just like 540 extrait. You should check it out. The Extrait version has almond in it that makes it smell so much nicer imo. Thanks for the review!
Just FYI, Al Haramain Amber Oud "Rouge" is not and was not created to be a dupe of "Baccarat Rouge 540". It was created to be a dupe of, even down to the same bottle color (Red glass, gold accents), of "Baccarat Rouge 540 EXTRAIT". The extrait is different from the EDP, in the opening, mid and dry down, because the extrait has additional notes and is far more dense than the 540 EDP which can actually lose its smell sometimes. It does have a great similarity to the 540 EDP for obvious reasons, but that was not the intent of the creation. They wanted to dupe the more expensive Extrait version, did a very good job, and deserve credit for that. To say it is "Just a dupe of the original 540 EDP doesn't do it justice. lol
Just look at the bottle of Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait and the Haramain Amber Oud Rouge and you will realize exactly which one they cloned / duped. When they go as far as to match the bottle design / colors, that makes it pretty obvious. Would love to see an updated video comparing it to its actual dupe. Hint, I've only found one so be the second to do the correct comparision. lol

@@devon9321 they are both amazing and really similar to baccarat. For me manege rouge is a bit more sweet than amber oud rouge and less Woody. Longevity is insane in both of them!!
@Kierstin Schwarz probably manege rouge! Have you tried oils like the oil perfumery? They have amazing dupes, I also bought some in etsy and there is a few companies that made a good job! Also have you tried Burberry her? Not the same but has the same vibe to me!

I have a small bottle of MFK BR 540 extrait, Ariana Grande Cloud and I just received the Al Haramain perfume and I find that I go nose bind (anosmic) to all three. However, I do get wafts here and there of the Al Haramain more than the BR 540. Great Review 👍🏿

The Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold edition is identical to Xerjoff Erba Pura. Amber Oud Rouge is BR540. Amber Oud Tobacco is Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. Amber Oud Blue is men's Bleu de Chanel.
Edit: I forgot to mention that Swiss Arabian's "Gharaam" is a great long lasting dupe that doesn't have that strange iodine medicinal smell in it. If you love the sweeeet burnt sugar smell of Baccarat, but you hate that weird iodine smell it also has- your best bet is Grahaam. I also think Grahaam leans a bit more masculine than all other dupes.
Is the tobacco too much in Amber Oud Tobacco? I’m allergic to smoke and I’m afraid this will choke me 😅.
@@missgui4400 I'm not sure- I don't own it just yet, lol. I've heard it's really good just like Tom Ford's. I do know that it's a sweet tobacco smell with rich vanilla- leaning a bit masculine. So the tobacco isn't an ashy cig smell- it's like sweet tobacco like you'd put in a pipe,, or like the tobacco leaf, from what I read. I bet it smells A LOT like Zara's "Rich, Warm, Addictive"!!! Men and women both absolutely LOVE that one and it's only $20 but doesn't last long on skin.
Now I’m debating if I want it or not. I have 2 bottles of Cloud and one from Belayerd (alexandria fragrances) called Interplay. I love it and hear it a a dead on dupe!!! I have a sample of 540 I’m going to see which smells closest.
If you have other dupes then I would wait to buy this. I haven’t smell the ones you mentioned. I may try them in the future😀

Are u talking about Baccarat Rouge the red bottle or the transparent bottle ? Because at the beginning of the video you showed the transparent bottle and I don’t like the red one . So this dupe it represents which one of them ?

Mandie cologne oils are much less and it's away to get the 540 try cologne oils. Or like you doing you can find some colognes 90 to 95 percent

No. When it comes to fragrances my nose just likes what it likes. But there are some men’s fragrances that I won’t wear. I think 540 is one of those fragrances that has no gender...my opinion. I think it smells good on both male and female. Which is why I said it can’t be put in a box.
I have to say my experience with this Al Haramain Rouge is very bad.
First time I tried it ,I thought something was wrong with the tester.
Second time I thought maybe I made a mistake and it is the wrong perfume.
Today I made another attempt and the result was the same -- on me it's like a stale iodine.
From the first minute and after a few hours, the dry down is bad. Choking.
On the other hand, I have Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition and on me it smells divine...
Go figure....
