To the guy that said he was unsubscribing to this channel because he only does high dollar guns he can't afford!!!!! You must have only been watching for a day maybe. He reviews any and all guns from high dollar to guns anyone can afford. Hey honest, you and your wife keep doing what you do. As a kid I used to watch my grandfather clean his 1911 infront of me and it was the first gun I saw, and I just fell in love with it, but this... This gives out a more modern era vibe to it...

Absolutely a beautiful platform that checks off more boxes than any other. The Laugo and the DWX will have their places but this will be nearly right there in their space and in the space of any many other platforms/purposes. Awesome video!
I got to fire an STI awhile back for the first time. Smooth as butter. It literally felt like I was shooting an airsoft gun the recoil was so soft...

EDIT: that was a one of the best interviews and previews from shot show i have seen this year for sure. Awesome job both of you guys!! I would love to get one but not sure this is the best gun for a switch hitter. I'm a lefty that likes to switch hands during practice a lot. I wouldn't say I am fully ambidextrous but a lot of things i switch hit on such as hand writing or using a computer mouse. Would be nice if i could keep the gun manipulations just a mirror of the other side. Would make it easier for me to train the other side I feel. I suppose i could just rack the slide on both sides when needed, but I do like using the slide lock lever.

The price they're asking for them really isn't out of line at all... considering from a shooters perspective, they are arguably the best handguns in existence right now.

WOW, good job Outlaw, let the rep speak without interruption - active listening. I always keep an eye out for my next 9mm and STI Staccato looks phenomenal. Toggled over to Gunbroker, yikes I am going to ask for a bigger allowance. Will look for Staccato to rent at local ranges, then out on top my my letter to Santa.
Don’t know where you live but hard to believe any local range will have high end Staccato to rent.

Robbert Loevendie - Oh I think that would be a good one, but I have the feeling the STI would ultimately smoke the Hayes 2011 as it is just not on the same level,platform wise as the STI. I have high hopes for the CZ DWX as it just might fit into the budget
@@lazerrred yes, price should be taken into acc. And yes, I also have very high hopes for the CZ. My nicest gun to shoot is a CZ (sp01) so think the cz dwx might be a great combination.
Robbert Loevendie - I have to say I am a big fan the Sp01 line. My favorite is the Shadow2, it’s like butter and fits like a glove. Can’t wait to check out the CZ DWX though if price isn’t crazy. 🙏🤷♂️

Great interview!!! I'm new to the 2011 type guns. Loved them in John Wick. Do they come in .45 caliber, or is it only 9mm?? My favorite handguns are 1911 .45 caliber.

How did the trigger feel? I’ve seen you make videos on the C2, P, and XL. Would it be difficult to adjust from the C2 to the xl? Vice versa?

Since STI and other gun makers are curving the undercut of the trigger guard...why not add a 2nd curve for the support finger? As you find on the Combat Master modified TTI guns? Also...why not use a grippy rubber for the grip? Or offer it.
My experience with STI is you need to tune those in. Also quality was in issue. So I hope the have better build quality now

I just went online to look at the STI. It says the warrantee is voided if you shoot reloads. Now the only person who would spend $3800 on a pistol is someone who shoots a lot. Most people who shoot a lot reload (at least the ones I know). I know not all firearms are like that because my Wilson came with recommended handloads. AOL, powder, charge, bullet.
That is quite honestly one of the sexier pistols I have seen this year. Man, I would wickid love to rock one of those gun sin the range.
