I have 2 of those. 1 that turned into a safe queen and one I bought used with a blemish on the front strap from being dropped. Put on Colt wrap-around grips with silver medallions and I am in business. Love them. Great video.
I’ve never held a tricked out 1911 with the beaver tail, great sights, a nicer trigger etc. I never thought I needed all that but damn that Colt is a piece of art and a tack driver. I at least need to go to the range and try one. Thanks for sharing. I work right next to Colt. I drive by the big blue Colt dome every day. I can see it from the highway and I try to imagine all the lives that have been impacted by that very factory with the rampant pony atop that blue dome. Thanks for sharing!

Hey, thank you for the comment, it was a loner from a good friend of mine and I am not sure about the barrel, but dang, it’s hands down the best shooting pistol I have ever shot. No kidding, I was surprised on the grouping it gave me.
I did not run HP's through it, but I have been thinking about borrowing it again and doing a quick video/test and see how the Colt runs on HP's, they are just so expensive though! Like I said in the video, I am not a huge Colt fan, but man that pistol was amazingly accurate!
