    Yes!! Women need to celebrate each other, especially in male dominated industries!! You rock, Lala, and so does your crew for having your back!!! Great interview!

    Awesome video, cool to hear her perspective and understand what that's like being in a primarily male dominated industry.. Maddi & I want our girls to be able to pursue it if they wanted to, but there's a lot of variables..

    Really Awesome Q&A. She did such an amazing job answering the questions. We definitely need more girls in the trade, they can bring so much to the table, they don’t think like we do and could bring so many solutions and tricks. Great work to you and Lala 👊

    You have a wonderful family and your dad has to very proud of your sister and you! I am a contractor and would be furious if I witnessed another contractor being rude to her! She is young let her work as long as she feels comfortable to do so! Not a darn thing wrong with being kind! She certainly understands the long term implementation of this work! Let her be!

    If both more young Men and Women would work in the trades at the start of their careers, they would more fully understand what it really takes to make America Great, for they are the ones who will build this nation. Thank you so much for what you are doing. ❤

      My first job after graduating from college was as a framing carpenter. One could not have had a better start in the construction industry as a career than that. 😊

    Very well spoken and motivating interview!
    Seems like every few weeks to months I question my career as a carpenter but videos like this makes me proud and reaffirm my love for carpentry.
    I was curious on y’all’s opinion on lifelong career as a carpenter in the field. Do you worry about being burnt out? Do you have aspirations to pursue project management or another non-physically demanding position in the industry after your stent of being in the field?

    • @Coffmanconstruction
      @Coffmanconstruction  Před měsícem +1

      I personally thing being in the field lifelong wouldn’t make a ton of sense, I think that transitioning into a teaching/managing on field role makes the most sense

    My wife was my only other employee for years in the field framing, hanging rock, finishing, forming and pouring walls and flat work and the amount of work we lost or were judged by people about all because she is a she is rediculous. Are there definate stregth differences, yes there are but if everyone is using all their strength all the time they are going to not last long in the industry period and their bodies are not going to hold up. After a lifetime in the industry the people who last the longest and suceed are the ones who work the smartest.
