Cessna 177 RG Cessna 210 is the same. Jacking and Gear retraction. Make sure there is nothing in the way when you jack it, my Helicopter blades had to be turned to avoid contact.
Great video, my 76RG Cardinal failed to retract the landing gear yesterday. The gear motor has a light installed that didn't activate. Is there a way to troubleshoot without jacking the plane?
A very interesting video THANKS! A question on the tail stand. Is it a tail weight or a tail stand or,,, BOTH? I do my gear swing tomorrow for the first time.
Cardinals need weight. My stand does both. I don't attach the tail until the mains are off the floor about 8 inches, this helps keeping it level when it is up all the way
@@KerryWho, thanks! I just didn't without incident, until someone was trying to be helpful pulled out the tail stand and punched a small hole in the tailcone! Sigggggggggh, he knows how to fix such things and is fixing it for free at least. Funny thing is it looks like someone did it before!
Good information..thanks 👍
