Weather Update : बाढ़-बारिश का कहर, पहाड़ों से लेकर मैदानी इलाकों तक मची तबाही | heavy rain | flood

हालात को देखते हुए सिंचाई विभाग का फ्लड डिपार्टमेंट हर चार घंटे में गंगा और यमुना दोनों नदियों का जलस्तर माप रहा है। उत्तराखंड में लगातार बारिश की वजह से कई जिलों में बाढ़ आ गई है, जिससे हरिद्वार बैराज से गंगा में लगातार पानी छोड़ा जा रहा है। चंबल की पहाड़ियों में भारी बारिश से यमुना नदी का जलस्तर भी बढ़ने की आशंका है। उत्तराखंड में बढ़ते जलस्तर को देखते हुए संगम नगरी प्रयागराज में निगरानी बढ़ा दी गई है।
In view of the situation, the flood department of the Irrigation Department is measuring the water level of both rivers Ganga and Yamuna every four hours. Due to continuous rains in Uttarakhand, there has been flood in many districts, due to which water is being continuously released into the Ganga from Haridwar Barrage. There is a possibility of the water level of Yamuna river increasing due to heavy rains in Chambal hills. In view of the rising water level in Uttarakhand, surveillance has been increased in Sangam city Prayagraj.
