Roof rack and DIY fairing install on my '01 E38

In this vid I "mod" a roof rack to fit, fabricate a fairing from scratch for the rack and install them on my E38.
Since I've had the 740 its always felt a bit too formal. It needed something that makes it look a bit more playful even though its just a big speedy couch. Nobody makes a rack fit kit for the E38 so I had to hunt around a bit to find pieces that would work, thankfully I just had to mix kits for the other cars in the garage, #259 for Civics '96-'00 and #003 for Starion/Conquests '83-'89. Then cut a fairing out of material I had floating around 'n got it all fitted up. It looks fantastic! I am super pleased with how it all turned out!
