I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. I've sent my dogs running more than a few times. Hockey season is the worst, so the kids better get their ear muffs on. Dogs too.

I have never felt "bad" going home as first looser (and I've done that plenty of times).
Even when I lost in the final round at a NHRA Div-2 Brkt. Finals race I was still elated because 1: I won the 2/2 number plate in the ProBike class
and 2: The 2/1 ProBike winner was part of Team Moroso as well and he and I making it to final round was directly responsible for winning the Div-2 Track,
Team Championship for Dick Moroso that year (RIP)💖

Our first time back to Gateway/WWT for drag racing in nine years and you won the friggin race Clay!!! CONGRATULATIONS to you, Jim O, Rick Ware and your amazing crew. We were on the right hand side about half track and the crew went by in the tow vehicle absolutely screaming. Went to the pit hoping to meet you but you guys were busy taking that awesome team picture. After over eight hours in the heat and sun it was time for us "old folks" to head to the hotel. Love you Clay.
