Awesome video! I’m a new subscriber because I Love the way you take your time to clearly explain your subject. So many other You Tube gurus rush through the material. And they seldom enlarge their screens. However, I was wondering,...how do you charge the customers for taxes on their purchase? Is this calculated & added in automatically by the various e-commerce stores? Is the sales tax based on where you are located, or is it based on where the customers are? Thanks again for sharing!😊

Hi Louise! How do I go about making a second page for my store? I ideally would like to have 25 products per page and have customers go through a page 1-2-3 system instead of an infinite scrolling system. Thanks for the tutorial

Is there a way for clients to enter the payment they wish to make. I send invoices to my clients for psychology services and would like them to be able to enter the amount they wish to pay toward their invoice through the website. For each client, the amount differs for the service based on what their insurance has paid. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Is there a plug in you can add for state-by-state sales tax Nexus for when you sell a product? Also is there any kind of plug in available for inventory stocked with amazon? Where can I go in general to see what types of plug-in options are available for a squarespace account? Or are all of these part of the upgraded plan? thank you. I'm trying to determine which hosting platform to use for my goals.
Hi Jenna! You should be able to set up tax right within Squarespace - no plugin needed! Also, it looks as though you can add Amazon blocks to your site if you're in the US! Also, there isn't really one general spot that you can go to see all of the plug-ins unfortunately - there are so many different ones available through different sites even outside of Squarespace! If you have one in particular you're wondering about, I would do a quick google search of that plus "squarespace plug-in" to see what comes up! Personally, I love Squarespace and have been using it to help me build my brand for many years now! Best of luck!! xx

Yes! So you can set up an online store on any Squarespace template :) As for the shipping issue - I am not 100% sure. I would reach out to Squarespace live chat and talk to them about your specific situation.

Hi... This is so helpful. Yet I am facing new issue with squarespace - my payments are not going through stripe accounts due to 3D secure. Seems like squarespace does not support 3D secure where one time password or authentication happens from banks. And thus, I can not accept payments from my customers through cards. Any idea on this ? How can I resolve this ? Cards is something most Indian customers rely on and I really dont want just PayPal as support option for payment as very few customers in India will have PayPal accounts.

You don't need a paypal account to use it. Your customers can check out in paypal as a guest and use their credit/ debit card.

Hey there! You can use sub-sections in your Squarespace store 🙂In each section, it will give you the option to add a sub-section!

if i have a custome invoice template for the customer how do i upload it or put on Squarespace ?
Hi there! It depends on where you are wanting them to have this in your process 🙂 Is it a template that they fill out? Or just an invoice that they get after they place an order? Or a template that they need to fill out after they place an order? If it's a template they fill out before purchase then I would create a custom checkout form for them (which you can do in "Commerce" settings), but if it's after they purchase a product then you would set this up in your payment gateway (i.e. PayPal, Stripe, etc.). If it is something they need to fill out after making a purchase then I would suggest treating it like a digital download where they receive the link after purchase! I know this is a lot but I wanted to make sure I covered it. I hope this helps 🙂
Hi! Do you have a video that shows how to design our own custom sales page and connect it to our stripe account? Stripe is a pain trying to create a buy now button, paypal has them beat with that feature, but Stripe seems more seller friendly.I can't find a simple straight forward video that shows me how to create a sales page via squarespace, then link it to my stripe account. Help. Lol
